Had a 3 hour road trip for the game, but it was well worth it. My son-in-law is an Army Captain and he and my daughter are visiting for Christmas. It was last min decision, but we went on a whim because he had never seen Army play I person. To say he was excited is an understatement. We got back home at about 2:00 AM, but seeing him enjoy the game was well worth the drive. This would not have happened without Vet Tix and the amazing donors out there. Thank you all so much. Their excitement to be in the stadium and see the players they admire right in front of them on the field was such a thrill to witness. Even the steady rain for the first half didn't dampen their spirits. In addition to being at the game with my sons, my father in-law (Air Force Veteran) was also able to get a ticket and join us on a road trip to the game. THANk YOU SO MUCH INDEPENDENCD BOWL AND VET TIX. THE GAME was amazing and what made it even more amazing was of the four of us were Lousisna Tec graduates. They won the game. So many records broken such as first time in the bowl history was a shutout recorded. Just a great great great game. Stadium officials even had cars available to get us back and forth to the car which helped me as I am a disabled vet with trouble walking. Thank you again so much for a perfect day.

In my 25 years in the military, I had multiple deployments which took me all over the US and a huge potion of this time was when my boys were very small and my wife was left to nuture them alone.
