Pantera was awesome! Metallica was OK. The seats sucked!! I was lucky enough to talk to guest services and they were able to give us 115 section seats. This was the 3rd show I received 4th level seats. We didn't go to the other 2. I deathly afraid of heights and my ptsd goes insane! I thought I'd try and give 447up a try, but had a panic attack and was full head to toe sweats. I couldn't even eat I was so terrified!! LiveNation, there needs to be a way to offer better seats to those with health issues preventing us from being able to enjoy a night out without the fear of death! Glad that guest services helped, otherwise we were leaving after 2 hours of trying to get there and 2 minutes in our issued seats. Not everyone can sit in those seats!! It's sad that we had to miss out on Bon Jovi & Journey and paid for tickets we couldn't use. It was almost 3 shows in a row.

With PTSD, I am commonly anxious to go into dark crowded spaces, especially with people drinking. With the help of my amazing wife, we went together. She’s always wanted to see Kip Moore AND Old Dominion. When a patient of my wife’s explained Vet Tix, I reluctantly signed up. I won tickets but was then forced to face some avoidance barriers I’ve had for years.

To my reluctant surprise, I had a great time. A fantastic time. I am thankful for the generosity of those who donated their seats so my wife and I could connect, enjoy music and help me overcome some anxious triggers.

This was an amazing performance. It was so special for me because I had not attended a concert since 1979 while in the Marine Corps. So to say that it was liberating would be an understatement because the military changed my life and trajectory for ever making it difficult to be around others or feel comfortable to be in a crowd since MST. This was therapeutic and shows how far I've come in therapy recovery at the VAMC PTSD clinic.
So again, thank you for this great opportunity and start on a new path of assurance that I'm gonna be aright moving forward

Awesome show. Awesome seat. I never expected to see any of the bands, especially Skillet. At war time and mission execution I listen to Monster and Feel Invincible. I now also love Psycho in my head. It is perfect for my PTSD.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! This show was worth EVERY inch of the 450 mile round trip. As a PTSD vet, I don’t get the opportunity to laugh much. This show negates that. It helps that the section (GREAT SEATS) was exclusively vets. I’m still laughing just remembering last night.

This is a long story but it's why just a simple thank you doesn't do justice for these tickets. In 1988 my mother took me to see my favorite country singer of all time, Randy Travis. The only thing I remember about the concert is what I was told by my mom. She said that my four year old self was so excited I fell asleep and no matter how hard she tried I would not wake up.

I had always hoped to be able to go see him in concert again with my mom to "make up" for falling asleep on her. When he had his stroke about seven years ago I gave up hope of ever getting to see him in a concert setting with my mom.
A few months ago, this event popped up on Facebook. I was beyond excited because my family was in a stable place. I put off getting tickets to make sure I would be able to have the time off to go when it got closer to the concert. Unfortunately for me, my life took a nose dive and I had to resign from my job because of a toxic environment that was triggering PTSD symptoms and had me on the verge of a mental break down. As the primary income for my family, our budget dropped drastically, and my hopes had once again crashed of ever seeing him on stage once again.

Since I've been waiting to hear back about employment, I check my phone. To my shock the email that came through was for tickets to A Heroes & Friends Tribute to Randy Travis. I talked with my amazing wife and she agreed to figuring it out so I could go. I got the tickets and texted my mom to call me when she could. When she called I asked her if she was busy Tuesday and whe. She said no I told her that she was going with me to the show.

I drove four hours from the Fort Knox area to Huntsville and finally got to see him with my mom. For a few hours, my mom got to see her almost 40 year old son see his country music hero awake for the first time. (Ha ha) This is truly a memory that neither of us will ever forget.
I hope you now see why I say a simple thank you would never do justice. From the bottom of my heart I am truly grateful for your kindness and generosity in donating the tickets.

The Neil Diamond - So Good performance was unsettling for me. Maybe it was my PTSD or Tinnitus but I heard unexpected blend of sounds that were harsh to my ears. Quite possibly the volume was not SO GOOD as the amplification forced us to make an early exit.
Finally, as a veteran that occasionally struggles with alcohol, going to a show that designated a 6:30 start but really begins at 8:00 is not a healthy environment for me.
Thanks to the donors for allowing me to be a better self advocate.

Thank you for this opportunity. I struggle with severe ptsd and it has taken a lot to be able to go to crowded events. However being able to spend a fraction on tickets so if I have an episode or the event becomes too much I know I'm not financially hurting my family really helps.
