Wow, what a wonderful night. It I was a rewarding evening at the historic Old Stone House in Brooklyn. 246 years ago, Revolutionary soldiers fought for independence at this very spot. I liken the battle at this location, to the battle of Thermopylae, where 300 Spartans fought the Persian army of 180,000. A similar number of Maryland and Delaware minutemen stalled the British, allowing Washington the ability to evacuate Long Island during the Battle of Brooklyn. This heroic battle allow or fledgling nation's army to survive and fight another day. Last night, a group of wonderful composers and artist entertained us and helped celebrate this often forgotten Battle. Great night! Thank you Concrete Timbre and Vet Tix for keeping these memories alive. Please continue to make these events available. Thank you, we will support Concrete Timbre and Vet Tix forever! Roger K
