Thank you for your donation of tickets to the PRCA Rodeo! It was the first time our son has ever experienced a rodeo at an indoor arena. Your support for Veterans is much appreciated and will not go unnoticed. We had a great evening!!!

Thank you Hartman Arena The Rodeo was great. All 3 generations of family were entertained. The arena is intimate without being crowded, providing the perfect blend. The ample free parking is, truly, a plus. We had the additional benefit of being able to watch stock from the ranch and rodeo company of family friends (Silver Creek Ranch). Thanks again we loved it

Thank you Vet Tix and the Hartman Arena. We all had a great time at the PRCA Rodeo. The arena is a nice place for major events like this. Thanks again for the fun evening.

Hartman Arena was a great place for this event! Family friendly, clean seats, clean bathrooms, welcoming staff and volunteers. Easy to find. Concessions for those who want an adult beverage and other places where food and non alcoholic drinks (and bottled water and Gatorade) were available.. I won tickets from Vettix (a lottery for veterans when tickets are donated to an event) for this Rodeo. Before the rodeo starts, there are 3 things that happen. First a prayer for the safety of the rodeo participants, Human and animal and for protection and thanks that we are able to gather. Second, one rider rides out with an American Flag and laps the arena, then holds steady in the Center. They ask the crowd to stay seated. Third (this sequence is so important to me) they ask Veterans and those presently serving to stand. The crowd responds with applause. Then they ask first responders such as law enforcement and firefighters to stand with the veterans. More applause. Next, they ask the remainder of the crowd to stand, remove their hats, put hands on their left chest. The crowd rises. Another request: join in singing our beautiful National Anthem. Voices raise in song "Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave, o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave. The entire crowd is standing as the last notes linger. I invited a rancher to join me. We'd both had been dying at the hospital on the same day a little over 2years ago. Our prognosis was grim. Both of us caught that ugly flu and were finally better. We hadn't seen each other since before Christmas. I put on my good Ariat boots, a snap button shirt, makeup. (I rarely bother but this was special) and even curled my hair. We arrived in time to get handicap parking. There are a lot of disabled spots available. And here in Kansas, my next seat neighbor was from Maine, I was born in Massachusetts. He'd brought his family. He also was a vet. And we talked Hockey, Rodeo and Ram trucks. There were some spectacular wrecks and some great rides. Great seats, great company, no politics. Thank you Vettix for this memorable evening. And thanks to Hartman and the PRCA Rodeo for giving me a reason to get dressed, leave the house and join in.
