A string of wonderful surprises, from tickets becoming available from Vettix, to the natural beauty of the venue, to the kind people at Koka Booth Amphitheater and AEG who upgraded us from lawn to reserve seats, to the wonderful bluesy, country voice of Carlene Carter. What wasn't a surprise was how professional, wonderful and energetic the performances of John Mellencamp and Emmy Lou Harris were. They both exceeded all expectations with long sets expertly combining old and new songs. What a wonderful night that allowed me to take a break from work on my Masters thesis. Thanks Booth Amphitheater, City of Cary, North Carolina, AEG and Vettix!
