I want to sincerely thank VetTix and the generous donors for the incredible opportunity to attend the Minnesota Vikings game with my family this past weekend. It was an unforgettable experience to cheer on the Vikings to a win and, more importantly, to spend quality time with loved ones. Moments like these mean the world to us, especially when they’re shared in such an exciting and uplifting atmosphere. Military life often comes with long stretches away from family due to deployments and training. Having opportunities like this helps restore balance, reconnect, and create lasting memories together. My husband and I brought our son (8yrs. old) to his first Vikings game as a surprise to him! He is a huge fan of the Vikings and you could not wipe the smile off his face the entire time we were there...I even bought a Vikings Jersey for him at the stadium so he'll remember our day together for years to come. My husband is a police officer and having this 1 on 1 time with our son, without the distractions of our jobs is exactly what we needed with him. The only feedback my son gave me was "Mom, next time could you get us seats that aren't so high...I really don't like heights." LOL, I explained how I got the tickets and he understood! Without these free tickets, we would not have been able to afford to go. The price of food, parking, and other incidentals is on the rise. We have 3 children and with the price of everything increasing, we try to watch our extra spending and/or save incase of emergencies. Thank you again for this amazing day and experience! All 3 of us will remember this day for the rest of our life.
