Dear Washington Stage Guild and VetTix, We were delighted with last night's performance of "Arms and the Man," for which I received four tickets from VetTix. My husband and I are both veterans, and we appreciated the military wit in the play. We were surprised when we found out shortly before the show that "Sergius" would be played by Thomas Daniels, who was in my Cub Scout den years ago! Perhaps appearing in a Cub Scout skit might have been one of eight-year-old Thomas's first opportunities to perform on stage! He was great! One of my guests, the wife of a retired AF band member, also had a friend in the cast (Diana, playing Louka). So we enjoyed meeting these two cast members, as well as the Director, Bill Largess., after the show. The show was wonderful, the actors were talented, the intimate venue was perfect for this production; we have been recommending the play to friends of ours. THANK YOU so much for providing the tickets to us through VetTix. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance and hope to attend future events by the Washington Stage Guild.
