2023 MLB World Series - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Texas Rangers - Game 3
Event Feedback
Thank you, Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, Integrity 9 Sports & Entertainment, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Texas Rangers, the Police, Security, vendors, and your great staffs for a fun evening. Chase Field is such an awesome stadium. It epitomizes Baseball. The dome was open, which added to the night's ambiance. Of course, the place was packed with howling fans! The wide variety of food and beverage vendors is a huge plus, and the items are reasonably priced compared to many parks. Since it was the World Series, there was a specialty menu, and fans received World Series scarfs. Thank you! We watched game 3 of the World Series and the D-Backs 1st home game. I never ever imagined I'd make it to such a monumental, once-in-a-life-lifetime event. My wife an I were elated and numb. We had fantastic seats in Section 114, Row 11, by first base. Close enough to see the players' faces. Amazing! The National Anthem was sung so beautifully. The Color Guards were honorable. The Air Force flyby was tremendous. The fireworks were spectacular. 2001 Arizona World Series Champs, Luis Gonzalez and Randy Johnson, were there to kick the night off by throwing out the first pitch. During the 7th Inning Stretch, there was a soulful rendition of God Bless America, which had the entire audience singing, followed by Take Me Out to the Ball Game, as the choir continued. Jordan Sparks, the 2007 American Idol Winner, was in the house! During the game, there were plenty of family activities and festivities, and people and groups were honored, such as the Arm & Hammer Flex Cam, Fan Cam, Whataburger Whatafan Posts, T-shirt Toss, Budweiser Scholarship for FOH Families, Cox Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; Gonzo won), and D-Backs 50/50 Charity Raffle ($126,639 went to the winner- wow!), etc. The Rangers struck first scoring 3 runs in the third inning, one a 2-run homer. The D-Backs scored 1 run in the eighth and actually had more hits than the Rangers, 6 versus 5, but they were not able to string them together and lost 3-1. Nevertheless, it was an incredible experience, albeit bittersweet. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, Integrity 9 Sports & Entertainment, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Texas Rangers, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your stupendous teams. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You rock! Sincerely, Chuck
