Thank you, Georgia Southern University - Eagles, for the fantastic opportunity to fellowship and hang out with my friends and Thomson High Bulldogs classmates, Class of 82, on a great night for football and a GSU victory. History Plug: Michael Tate (center), Alvin Wright (right), Vicent Stapleton (not pictured), and I (left) drove to GA Southern Jan 1983 to check out the restart of football at Georgia Southern led by legendary Coach Erk Russell as the head coach. Mike, Alvin, and Vicent joined the inaugural team. I went to Albany State College before joining the United States Navy. We are grateful for the generous opportunity to attend my first-class facility, GA Southern football, with lifelong friends.
