To Live Nation: THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! I first saw Lynyrd Skynyrd with my dad (Vietnam Vet, Marines) when I was 6. Since then, I've seen them in concert a handful of times and they've always had a special place in my heart. When I learned they were retiring after 50yrs and that this would be their last summer tour, I KNEW I had to see them one last time! Tickets were a little too expensive for me to buy, so I kept an eye on prices over the last few months but they never really came down enough for me to afford. When I saw some tickets were available on VetTix, I jumped at the chance and found there was ONE ticket left! So, I claimed it! I was a little unsure about going to a concert by myself, but I knew that if I didn't get to see Skynyrd on their final tour, I would kick myself for the rest of my days. THEN, when I found out that this one ticket was in SECTION A, ROW 9! On the floor...9 rows back from the stage! WHAT?!? A good bit of my apprehension with going alone disappeared! The rest of it went away when I learned that the seat next to me was claimed by an Army Desert Storm Veteran! We shared some stories and talked about our appreciation for VetTix and all they do for Veterans! It was an incredible night and my heart was happy after sharing it with Lynyrd Skynyrd one last time! The best part, tho... I was able to manage most of the feelings and thoughts that would typically have been triggered by being alone in a huge crowd of strangers... and, I found that I wasn't really "alone," anyway. I had a Brother in the seat right next to me! :) Thank you, again! Blessings!
