Dear Vet Tix and Wolf Trap Foundation, Thank you for your generosity in donating tickets to veterans to enjoy a wonderful performance by Richmond Ballet, Richmond Symphony, Richmond Symphony Chorus, and The City Choir of Washington. The evening began with dancer Carmen de Lavallade being honored for Life Achievement by Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and Mrs. Youngkin. Then the beautiful seven-part “Thrive” with choreography by Ma Cong was performed for the first time with live music. After intermission, came the powerful Carmina Burana. As always the staff at Wolf Trap was courteous and professional. This all made for a very memorable evening! Best regards, Edgar Russell

Thank you Wolf Trap Foundation for gifting my family and I to experience the World Premiere of Carmina Burana performed by The Richmond State Ballet. It’s a powerful piece and by far one of the most progressively contemporary pieces I’ve seen in quite some time.
