Thank you to Caesar's Entertainment / Bally's / Harrah's Entertainment/ Flamingo/Rio/ Planet Hollywood/Paris for allowing me to see this zany show! What do you get when you cross an accomplished hypnotist Asad Mecci with a legendary improv legend Collin Mochrie and then let the audience participate by throwing out random suggestions for the skits? You get Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis the unpredictable, zany, risk taking show with audience volunteers as the stars, Assad as the host, and Collin as the sketch master with a special shout out to the accompanying ad-libbing pianist who added spontaneous music that set the tone for the unscripted performances. Every evening is different and I believe some shows will be comedy genius and others potential improv train wrecks which may be more funny as they present unintentional farceurs! Tonight's show had us all laughing, clapping, and shaking our heads in approval. We definitely had one of the participants rise to superstar hysterical level with his personal touch and interpretation of his role(s) while under hypnosis. The show is in the welcoming Donny Osmond theater with a great view of the action from all seats, an open bar, attentive wait staff for drinks, and courteous staff to guide you to your seats and ensure no pictures are taken during the performance.
