Thanks for the tickets. My son and I greatly enjoyed our first hockey game. This is especially appreciated by my son who as a young man with a physical disability that has kept him from being able to participate in a lot of sports it it is one of the few ways he has gotten to enjoy sports . He absolutely loved it. As a single mom it has allowed me to give him other ways to get out and enjoy life. Thanks. Lynn taylor

A sincere, heartfelt thanks to the person(s) involved with helping to make this event such a happy and enjoyable time for us all. I was the first elected Booster Club President for The Checkers in their first season, serving the entire second season in that capacity. It was great seeing how the team has progressed. One "little one", in particular, actually put away his phone and came back for a few hours of reality, which is rare for a lot of "kids" in this day and age. We appreciate your generosity and community involvement and look forward to attending another gave or two before season's end.

As an avid hockey fan (from Florida originally no less) I don't get to attend very many hockey games due to work and life etc.. was able to take my GF (Her first game) and my son ( his second) and we had a blast. The Bojangles Coliseum was a fantastic venue to watch it.. plus we won which is always a bonus. Thank you to whomever donated and Vettix for the opportunity to enjoy a part of my life that has been missing a bit.
