Dear Pacific Symphony Orchestra, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the complimentary tickets you provided me through the Vettix program to attend your concert featuring pianist Conrad Tao and guest conductor Michal Nesterowicz. The evening was truly unforgettable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to witness such incredible artistry. Conrad Tao's performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 24 was simply phenomenal. His ability to navigate the keyboard with both nimble agility and pounding intensity was truly awe-inspiring. It's no wonder that the Detroit Free Press proclaims Tao as one of the world's virtuosos. And the encore piece he played, Fairy Garden from Ravel's Mother Goose Suite, was a beautiful addition to an already unforgettable performance. Guest conductor Michal Nesterowicz's command of the orchestra was impressive, and it was a pleasure to see him lead the music of his countryman, the late Polish film and concert composer, Wojciech Kilar. The historical and cultural significance of this programming choice was not lost on me, and it added an extra layer of depth and meaning to the evening. Finally, Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3, "Scottish," was the perfect conclusion to an evening filled with beautiful music. It was clear that the orchestra was fully invested in the music, and their passion and dedication were evident in every note. Thank you once again for providing me and my parents with such an unforgettable experience.
