Tony Orlando is 78 years young. He is one of the oldest 70s rockers I've seen so far. A few years back I saw Ronnie Milsap who is currently 80, I saw him when he was 75. Brian Wilson 80. Chicago all in their respective late 70s. All can still put in a great show, not because they can still carry a tune, but because they are superb entertainers. Tonight I was treated to tix from Sycuan Casino Resort and Veteran Tickets Foundation - Vet Tix. Many of my fellow service members were also in attendance. The Live and Close theater is a wonderful venue to experience an intimate evening with not only a fun entertainer but immensely talented musicians. The musical numbers they performed ranged from James Taylor, Prince, Beatles, Paul Simon, and yes even Zeppelin! While continuing to thank all of us for showing up. But the best part for me was when he asked all Vietnam Veterans to stand and had the audience say Welcome home. Not many artists do this. And then asked all who served during Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Afghanistan to also stand and get thanked. A wonderful tribute from someone who understands and respects the commitment and dedication to serving our country. And what it means to be an American. Thank you Tony for a job well done. There are very few who could start with Purple Rain and combine it with Fire and Rain. ðŸ™ðŸ’ªðŸŒðŸŒŽðŸŒðŸ––

Thank you Sycuan Casino! Every concert I have ever attended at your venue has been excellent. Tony Orlando put on an outstanding show. He dedicated his last song to veterans, asking that we stand to be recognized, while singing "You fought for America." Fantastic!
