I would like to thank the person who donated the tickets to Joe Walsh at the Oakdale last night in Wallingford Ct. Also thank you to Vet Tix for their incredible job getting tickets to vets and their families. My wife & another couple had great seats and very much enjoyed a wonderful evening of good music. A VERY SPECIAL thanks goes out to LIVE NATION because without their generosity I would have found it difficult to attend this event. I attended with my wife and two very good friends. I even met another Navy veteran that received his tickets through VETTIX. The show was very special because , as we all know quite a few of the rock legends of the 70's and early 80's have now departed. Recently of note Glen Frey, David Bowie and Prince come immediately to mind. Joe dedicated a song to his friend and co-band member Glen Frey, he rocked the house from start to finish. A true barnstormer of the 70's. There was no slowing down. He was just every bit as good as I remember from seeing him over 30 years ago. Again thanks to VETTIX and LIVE NATION for a very special evening.

What an awesome concert ! When I picked up the tickets at the will call window the women asked me how I got the tickets. When I told her Vet Tix she said she was so happy that veterans were getting these tickets and she thanked me for my service. She made me feel great before I even sat down to watch the concert. Thank You Oakdale for making it a great night. We also met other veterans there and saw a great show ! Thank You Oakdale and Thank You Vet Tix !

I want to Thank Live Nation!! Thank you so much for the opportunity to go to this concert. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it means so much to me that there is a program like this. It is an amazing feeling to be appreciated for the sacrifices so many have made. (Some more than others.). I am up for another deployment in the near future and am trying to cram in as much fun as i can before i go.... Because you just never know what the future holds.
