Well, the game was postponed till tomorrow, but I still am beyond words excited. This is my first ever Cubs game... and I couldn't be more tgankful. Thank you to the ticket donors, this is an opportunity I've been waiting for my while life... my late husband was also a veteran, and a Cubs fan from Chicago... one of the biggest fans ever, it should suffice to say my heart is deeply grateful knowing he's smiling down at my excitement and happiness... thank you so much for making this possible. .. words are not gratitude enough!!

I sincerely appreciate the Chicago Cubs and individuals for donating Cubs game tickets to VetTix. Since returning from Vietnam 46 years ago VetTix is the best thing that has happened to me and my family. I especially appreciate this service for the young Veterans returning from Afghanistan and Iraq many of whom struggle day to day with trying to fit back into civilian life. I know what they're going through and getting out to a Cubs game can really help. My buddy and I took this photo in Draft Kings while waiting for the rain to stop. It didn't, but we enjoyed hanging out in Wrigleyville. We ate drank and reminisced about old times and thoroughly enjoyed the positive and friendly atmosphere of our Cubs home.

Thanks VetTix, Chicago Cubs, and other donors! I appreciate the opportunity to go to Wrigley Field and watch the Cubs, it is always nice to go to Wrigley Field. I brought my father and unfortunately the game was postponed due to rain, so hopefully I can get the tickets switched so I can go to the game, if not my dad will go to tomorrow's game with my uncle.
