Thanks so much for the tickets! The show was excellent, and much better than we had anticipated. We were about 12 rows from the stage in a packed house. The energy was crazy! I took a retired vet with me - both of us have birthdays this week and this was our celebration. Thanks again!

Last night's show went beyond expectations, First off, I knew it was going to be a show that I would be talking about at the water fountain this morning, but, I had no idea that the tickets donated by AEG Live would be in the first row!! I grew up on the music so, I wanted this show to be something special, so I requested four tickets (and if selected), I would take my friend (also an Air Force vet) which would take his son, and I would take mine and together we could show them who we listened to while growing up. It was truly a family affair, with Carlene Carter talking about her roots and John's writing about family, nostalgia and living life. I am thankful to the Artist(s), the venue and again AEG Live for a memorable night that won't be soon forgotten. Again, Thank you Gregory Ackison

First-timer using VetTix and WOW"¦my day, my week, my month and my year was made because of Vettix.org and the pure unselfishness of the famous and generous AEG Live, one of the most famous producers of live events in the music and entertainment industry. The show? Simply amazing. John Mellencamp was flawless and Carlene Carter (Johnny Cash's daughter) was spot on. The venue (The Bushnell) had amazing staff and the sound quality was perfect and clear. The surprise wasn't in getting the tickets to see our childhood musical icon John Mellencamp up close and personal at the intimate Bushnell Theater but at the surprise I sprung on my wife with the entire night's event. She had no idea. I may be the disabled Veteran but my wife is not only my Battle Buddy, through thick and very thin, but she is also my Commander-in-Chief and deserved this night. We met plenty of Veterans who were grateful for the same opportunity and we made some great connections as well. Thank you VetTix for the opportunity and memories.

I could not believe that I got tickets to John Mellencamp, Plain Spoken Tour! A quick drive up I-91 to Hartford and we were there. The show was wonderful, a great blend of new and old; I enjoyed every minute! The Plain Spoken album is very simple and personal and the show was a reflection of both. The musicians were superb and the audience added to the energy. This is another memory I now own, thanks to Vet Tix and your donors.

Dear generous donors, I wanted to write a whole hearted thank you to you for donating tickets to the John Mellencamp show in Hartford CT. For years I'd always hoped to see one of his shows and I had never had the opportunity. I have been serving for 14 years and it is so nice to think that there are people who are so thoughtful and support our military members. First off a resounding thanks to the donor and VETTIX for the opportunity to attend an outstanding John Mellencamp performance. The seats were great! What an evening of heartland rock. Mr. Mellencamp hit all the right notes with oldies and new numbers performed. Mike Wanchic has been with the band for 45 year and still rocking. Miriam Sturm with her violin could rip your heart out, with the band since the mid 90's. I only wish I could shake the hand of the donor and let them know how much it means to us to be remembered for our service. Although it was a long time ago, I still a morning in 1967 when I said good bye to my family and friends a headed out with no real idea what was ahead. The outcome was that I grew up quickly, focused on improving my skills in aerial recon, got an education and made a good life for me and my family. Again thank you for thinking us. My wife and I had a great time at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford, CT last night. John Mellencamp and Carlene Carter had the crowd singing and dancing for 3 hours. Thank you to AEG Live for making it a memorable night and for the fantastic orchestra seats. And of course, thank you to Vet Tix for making it all possible.

My wife and I really enjoyed the show. It made for a perfect date night. The seats were awesome and the music from both stars was equally awesome. I've recommended this site to all my vet buddies and even posted on a page I manage on Facebook, vets helping vets.
