We sure did enjoy our big night out last night. We ate downtown Dayton at the Spaghetti Warehouse and then went and saw a Dayton Dragons game. It got off to a rocky, late start as the skies opened up at about 6 PM and it really rained hard. But, it stopped in time to dry off the field and get started about 30 minutes late. The seats were great - right along the first base line which was where most of the action was since the Dragons only had 1 base hit - a single! - and lost 2-0. We sure do thank those wonderful people who donated their tickets. Having served during the Vietnam War era there was not a lot of thanking going on then - but this sure was thanks enough for me. Hadn't been to a baseball game since I can't even remember when. And the Dragons' games sure are entertaining off the field even when they aren't doing much on the field. Thanks again! Mike & Barbara
