Thank you for your donation of tickets to the 2nd game of the Home Opening Series at Safeco Field. This was the very first Major League Baseball Game my two sons, 4 and 5 have been to. We spent the week learning "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" in preperation for the 7th inning stretch; the buildup to the event itself was almost as fun as being there. The sun was shining, the cool breeze off the Puget Sound carried the scent of hotdogs and garlic fries through the stands. The boys had their peanuts and Cracker Jacks (because it was in the song) and cheered their hearts out. The best part: The Mariners win 5-3. Thank you for helping in the creation of one of the most treasured memories in the life of two Veterans (their Grandfather also went and is a Viet Nam Vet) and two young boys. I am late on saying this, but I was so excited to have heard about this website and organization. Because of the tickets, I was able to take my kids to their first baseball game! It was so exciting and the weather was great. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to have gone and shared that event with them. It led to a lot of great memories that I am sure we will all remember for a long, long time. Again...THANK YOU!!
