Thank you so much to the Lansing Symphony Association Inc.! My daughter and I absolutely loved it. My daughter plays the cello in her orchestra class. Taking her to an event like this exposed her to potential possibilities in the future. As long as she works hard and dedicates herself. Thank you again.

My son and I had amazing seats to this concert! The Cello concerto was amazing and I have never heard a performance quite like the first piece that included actual sound clips from the Amazon. Thank you, Lansing Symphony Association Inc., for allowing me to spend this special evening with my son!

The Lansing Symphony Orchestra did an excellent presentation of the Shostakovich Cello Concerto. We loved it. It made for a wonderful Friday evening with the additional music of Patrick Harlin Composer-in-Residence. Patrick composed "River Of Doubt." The music had very unique sound as the percussion played sounds to resemble an Amazon Rain Forest. The piece was composed as the story of Theodore Roosevelts iconic and dangerous trip to find the Rio da David. The headwaters to the River Of Doubt. The Concert then played Shuman's Synohiny No. 4. The whole evening was very, very good. Thank you for this performance. We really enjoyed it.
