I want to give a big shout out to the Bruins that put on a great military appreciation night at the TD Garden last night. Every branch was represented, there is a huge amount of patriotism around Boston. considering what happened with the recent marathon and just with Boston history itself. I wish to thank the generous owners of the 4 seats that allowed me and my wife to go. The two other tickets, I had donated to the American Legion here in Connecticut so other vets could go. Thank you VET TIX for the tickets to Bruins/Avalanche at Boston's TD Garden! It was my first NHL game and I had a blast. I drove it up solo from Connecticut and met a very dear friend in Boston to take in the game. In addition to being just any other game in the season this was the Bruins' Military Appreciation Night, making the experience all that much better! When you insert a large number of our service men and women--in uniform--into a civilian setting such as a sports arena you have the potential for a special evening. And, BOY was it! There was applause and thanks and celebration aplenty as our troops were honored and recognized throughout the game. So thanks again, Vet Tix for this night and for all you do!
