We left our "Thank You VetTix" sign at home; however, we enjoyed the concert so much that we wanted to still submit something to show our appreciation. So we did the next best thing: a photo outside under the Richmond, VA Altria Theater marquee. I had to use some of my Adobe Photoshop skills to add the "Thank You" text to the image. Thank you so much AEG Live - New York; for the second time to see John Mellencamp in 2015. His concert was every bit as good as when we saw him in Norfolk, VA March 29th.

AEG Live-New York, these words really do not convey my appreciation for the tickets, but my sincerest thanks for affording me the opportunity to see John Mellencamp on his Plain Spoken Tour. Entering the event I was truly blown away by the seats which were awesome! Even dealing with recurring symptoms of the flu, John Mellencamp's performance was beyond stellar. Hearing him live is truly an earth shattering event, literally. For over 2 hours I could actually feel the music pumping through my body and it was awesome! He is a true musician and the variety of instruments from harmonicas, to accordions, to cellos his band played was overwhelming. The violinist Miriam Sturm, holy cow she was incredible! His special guest Carlene Carter was a great surprise. Her connection with the crowd was amazing as well as her guitar playing. I have been searching the internet trying to figure out the last song she sang because it brought tears to my eyes. John Mellencamp truly brought down the house singing some of the world's favorites such as Jack & Diane (even though the audience took over and skipped an entire verse!) and Pink Houses. I was torn from reminiscing over my love of his familiar tunes competing with my new passion for his more recent songs. I knew this concert was beyond great when my husband pointed at Mr. Mellencamp and yelled out "You the man!" AEG Live-New York, again thank you so much for the tickets! I LOVED every second of the show and was sad to see it end.

Thank-you so much for providing us with an opportunity to see John Mellencamp perform in Richmond, VA. Mr. Mellencamp played an assortments of new songs, scores from his musical Ghost Brothers of Darkland County (highly recommend seeing this one) and many of his old favorites. Let me just say Mr. Mellencamp and the band were terrific, along with the warm-up acts Carlene Cater, and we were thoroughly entertained. Thank-you once again for your generosity.
