Thank you Carnegie Hall for the tickets. Two firsts for Ann and I: somehow we've never been in this auditorium---Zankel Hall--before and we, surprisingly, never even heard of the West Eastern Divan. Both are marvelous. The Ensemble was formidable. Michael Barenboim is a formidable violinist. They well deserved the standing ovation Not a bad program either.
