I really enjoy classical music. My husband and my 4 year old son .. well it wouldn't be their first choice. This is why the POPS! style concert is so perfect. It pulls out familiar tunes and gets everybody clapping and moving along. My husband said "Does it mean I am getting old if I recognize all the tunes in a classical concert?" I said it's the POPS you are supposed to recognize them all. My 4 year old was great during it. We were encouraged to bring our own food for like a picnic. So he was happily eating all his treats from home! He liked the drums and the horns the best. I am originally from Boston and have been to a a few of the POPS style concerts there, and Long Beach matched right up! I think POPS is a very important bridge to bring high level classical music to a more diverse audience. Well done!

It was truly a magical night! The atmosphere was amazing. The music was sensational. The fact that we were able to bring and enjoy our favorite libations throughout the evening was a real treat, too!
