I wanted to take a moment to thank the University of Nebraska for their donation of tickets to the game vs. McNeese State. I took an active duty friend of mine and we took our sons. It was my sons first experience of a College football game day and I can't think of another program as exciting and professional to introduce him to. The atmosphere is amazing and the game was very exciting. Having served 23 years I haven't always had time to share moments like this with my children and your donation made a wonderful memory for me and my son. Thank you! GO BIG RED!!!!

Thank you Vettix and University of Nebraska for giving myself and my family the opportunity to watch the Huskers play. I was able to take my family many of which had never been to a Husker game. Being a Veteran on a set income makes it difficult to arrange something like this. Without the hard work and generousity of Vettix and the Univeristy of Nebraska, I would have been watching the game at home. Thank you again and God Bless!

Thanks to VET TIX and the University of Nebraska for the tickets! It's awesome for a team that holds a sellout record of 335 games to allow Veterans the opportunity to be part of the 91, 082 fans in attendance. GBR

My son, two of his friends, and I want to THANK VET TIX and the University of Nebraska for providing the tickets to the Husker football game. It was an amazing experience being part of the sea of red.. To show how small of a world this is three of my high school friends and a Marine that I grew up with and went through boot camp with was sitting in the same section as me. Very cool. It was also a great pleasure being able to sit with other service members.. THANK YOU, again!!

I just wanted to leave a belated review for the tickets I recently received. I was given tickets to the Nebraska Cornhuskers vs McNeese State football game on September 6th, 2014. I am a United States Marine Corps veteran. My brother, who is active duty Army, was also awarded tickets to this event. We went together as a family. It was three of our sisters, my brothers wife, two of my brothers, my 10-year-old daughter and myself. It was a bittersweet day. My brother was back home visiting a week before a deployment with 10th Special Forces Group out of Colorado. My sisters, one of which is a retired Navy officer, were also back home visiting from Minnesota and from Chicago. We were gathered together to see my brother before his deployment as well as to see my 8-year-old son in the hospital. He was recently diagnosed with leukemia. I had spent endless days and nights in the hospital, so it was refreshing to be able to get out of the hospital for a few hours and try to enjoy myself. During the game it was found out that my sons appendix had burst and he needed an emergency procedure to drain it, because he was too weak to have it removed. We ended up spending 33 days in the hospital and my son is finally home. That is the reason for the late review. I understand that this is the first time that tickets for a Husker game have been donated and I wanted to make it known that it was truly appreciated. We all really enjoyed ourselves at the game and it allowed us time to try to enjoy ourselves and forget about the pain my son was going through. Someday I hope to be able to take him to a game as well. Again, thank you very much. There is no place like Nebraska!

A huge thanks to Vet Tix and the University of Nebraska. I was able to attend the event with 7 of my family members including two sisters who came from Illinois, one sister from Minnesota, and myself from Colorado. I am an active duty Army staff sergeant who is a week away from deploying for six months to a hostile area. My brother is a USMC veteran who's son is currently being treated for Leukemia at the Children's Hospital in Omaha. We each received 4 tickets from Vet Tix, and were able to use this event as a way to reconnect with our family and have a nice break during such a stressful time for both of us. We had a blast during the game (man it was a close one!). Thanks again!!

Thank you Vet Tix and Nebraska Huskers for the tickets to the football game. Without you guys supporting veterans like myself. I couldn't take my family to all these events. You guys are such a great organization. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Justin Wohlford

Thank You to the University of Nebraska. My wife went to NU and we now live in Kansas with our adopted 13year old son. The tickets you donated allowed me to make a great day with the family. This was mine and our son's first trip to Memorial Stadium and it is a great place to watch a football game. Thank You Again

WOW! What an experience to the Holy Land. I have never been able to get a tickets to Memorial Stadium and game day in Nebraska is like no other. The seats were great, the game had me at the edge of my seat and I got to a Sportscenter #1 Top Play in Person! Thank You Vet Tix and University of Nebraska for giving me the opportunity to complete my pilgrimage.

Wow, what a day. It was amazing getting to attend our first college game day experience in Lincoln. Thank you to the University of Nebraska and to Vet Tix for the tickets. Seeing Memorial stadium in person was impressive and the fans were very gracious in welcoming outsiders into their midst.

I would like to thank the NCAA, University of Nebraska Huskers and VETTIX for such a great experience. I used to attend husker football games when I was in high school over 35 years ago and haven't been able to get back to a game until this weekend. My wife and I had a fantastic time and with the outcome not determined until 20 seconds left in the game, that made it all the more exciting. Thanks, Robert
