Last night my wife, Janis, and I were so happy to attend a concert donated by The City Winery and offered by Vettix. When I was a rock and roll disc jockey back in the med to late 60's I booked the wonderfully talented "Chad & Jeremy." This was before I was "invited" to join the men of the 1st Cav. (I understand some of you who weren't around in the 60's will not have a clue as to who they are. But they were a duo, who along with "Peter & Gordon", "The Stones", "The Dave Clark Five", etc, were all part of the British Invasion which was started by "The Beatles.") Well, Chad has retired, and Gordon, sadly, passed away, so Peter Asher and Jeremy Clyde are now touring as "Peter & Jeremy." What a spectacular evening. So many fun stories and great music. I printed out the photos from back then and we gave them to Jeremy, a set for him and a set for us. He laughed at how young we all were, and loved them. He signed our copies, and we were again in, but this time more recent, a photo with Jeremy Clyde. Thank you again, City Winery and Vettix for a most memorable evening.
