Thank you for tickets to a wonderful performance of The Damnation of Faust, a difficult piece for orchestra and chorus. The addition of a light show was an interesting but not very successful addition, for it made it difficult to see the orchestra at times and it made the conductor's score shine like a white flashlight. Aside of this minor detraction, the event was very enjoyable. The orchestra played well, and the chorus, even if soprano heavy, sang very well, especially their closing number. Thank you once again for making this opportunity available to me and my wife.
