The performance was amazing. Britten's Four Sea Interludes was a vigorous opening. Debussy La mer was very well done, it relays the vibrant colors of and turbulence of the sea, it also has a strong emotional element tied into the composition. Chopins Second Piano Concerto was amazing, it is very eclectic with random bursts in cadence and notes that abruptly clash into the abstract. The end was very well done, and it relays great emotion through the use of somber notes and delays, ending in a upbeat and invigorating piano abstract. I appreciate the opportunity to have a venue to take my wife and two young girls where they can see a wonderful display of the finest music Humanity has to offer. We are very grateful for the generous doners and folks at VetTix, we would not have the extra resources to attend this amazing performance without this generosity.
