Thank you to The Phoenix Symphony for supporting Vet Tix. I’ve been to many of its concerts at Symphony Hall, but this was a first. The Star Wars movie on a giant screen had the recorded sound track deleted. Instead, the full orchestra played it as an accompaniment to the movie playing above the musicians’ heads! Fun to watch the movie again, whose special effects by George Lucas were way ahead of their time 43 years ago, and the orchestra was impeccable as usual in its performance today of John Williams musical score.
