Family Disneyland Parks Trip!

Jun 5th 2023

My husband and I would love to be able to surprise our 3 girls (Kaidence 13, Makayla 11, and Hailey 5) with a 4 day Park Hopper +Genie Service At the DisneyLand Park in Anaheim California (we would need 5 tickets since we are a family of 5!) This deployment has been tough since I have been away through every family members' birthday and all the major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas time frame). I have missed many milestones (including my youngest losing her first teeth!) and events that I normally would be front and center. I would love nothing more than to come home and be able to take a vacation to California to see some of our family and add Disney in our plans! We would love the opportunity to be able to stay at one of the DisneyLand Resort hotels to capture the full experience of the Happiest place on earth!!

Morgan Wallen Tickets for Austin, TX

May 24th 2023

Hello, I am a Purple Heart Recipient and Wounded Warrior who is 100% Disabled from being Combat Wounded in Afghanistan. My “Hero's Wish” may seem a bit funny to some but I’m requesting tickets to see Morgan Wallen in Austin, TX on May 24, 2023, it’s not because I think he’s cute hahaha, it’s because I want to surprise my wife with them. My wife has fought for me, for my care, attended every doctor’s appointment leading up to my Med Board process and throughout it, even while 7 months pregnant with our 3rd child. She gave up her career to raise our children, including that 3rd child who was severely disabled by being exposed to toxic mold in base housing. She’s still fighting for me despite having to fight for him nonstop as well now. She’s a rockstar and completely deserves this.. I just can’t afford to make it happen due to have our special needs son. Tricare unfortunately doesn’t cover the doctors, supplements, therapies and testing he needs. Anyway, so my wish is to take her to see Morgan Wallen since he’s coming here in a few months. I really appreciate anyone who took the time to read this and can help fulfill this wish. Thank you and God bless!

FAMILY TRIP TO DISNEYLAND

May 22nd 2023

My name is James Campbell. I am being medically retired after nearly 14 years of military service in the United States Navy. Life has been difficult for my family. In 2013, I deployed to Afghanistan with a Tier 1 Special Operations Joint Taskforce. In many ways, it was the most rewarding experience of my life - in others the deployment had severe consequences for my family and myself. The OPSTEMPO was relentless, we were manned ISR supporting near daily air strikes and compound raids. I suffered a mild Traumatic Brain Injury in country, I began to have nightmares, and was suspicious of everyone. My wife had left me during the deployment, and I came home a single father of my two sons. I remarried in 2018 in Las Vegas to my amazing and supportive wife Brittany, who took on my sons as her own. A month later, we did a PCS move to Hawaii for a desk job as an intelligence analyst and we thought life was going to be our honeymoon. It wasn't. In 2019, due to my military affiliations, my family was stalked by an extremist who wrote a manifesto planning to do heinous acts to my wife and our two sons. He has since murdered his cell mate and our life has not been the same since the home invasion. Our life literally became a lifetime special. We have moved from state to state to state, first on Humanitarian Support orders, then again because medical treatment wasn't available due to COVID restrictions. I suffer from Chronic Severe PTSD related to the combat and civilian traumas. Brittany has been incredibly supportive, and we had a baby girl who is now a year old. I've been to every level of treatment that exists, residential, partial hospitalization, group, etc etc etc. Even tried Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy. I can't seem to get back to where I was. Admittedly, this began back in 2013, but I couldn't manage more than one session of exposure therapy. Now that my service is wrapping up, I feel defeated, like I have let my family down. I am being rated 100% P&T for combat related PTSD with comorbid TBI, Narcolepsy, and Migraines amongst others. I would love for the opportunity to receive 4-day park hopper tickets to take my wife and the kids to Disneyland. I don't like to get out of the house, but I think with the right accommodations through guest services, I would love to just feel like a normal family again.

Luz, Kimberly, John in honor of PFC Walter Stevenson, Herbert, and the Hero's fund, I cannot express strongly enough how meaningful this was to me and my family. It is easy to feel lost in the mix. Having my military and veteran brothers and sisters provide this experience for my family definitely let me know we've all still got each other's backs. I cannot thank you all enough. Much love and appreciation from my family - James.
Disney World Family Experience

May 22nd 2023

I am currently serving my 2nd tour overseas in the Middle East as a part of Patrol Forces Southwest Asia. I am married to my loving wife and blessed with 3 beautiful little girls. As a Coast Guardsman, My wife and children understood the importance of my volunteering for a 2nd tour and the impact I can make for my service and country. Although the work is hard and rewarding, I feel my family has the hardest job, my children being without their father for another year, and most importantly my wife for her sacrifice and struggles of maintaining a household with me gone. Our wish is for my family to have a magical Disney World experience when I complete my deployment and return home. We have already arranged airfare and hotel accommodations, we are respectfully requesting help in attaining 4-day park hopper passes plus option for my family of 5. After a year in the gulf, this wish would truly be our way to not only come together as a family once again, but make wonderful memories in the process. Thank you for taking the time to read and God bless.

Disney World

May 2nd 2023

My name is Zachary Bowman. I am a staff sergeant in the United States Army (19D Cavalry Scout) currently on recruiting duty. I joined the Army in 2014 because I had plans to start a family and I wanted to give them the stability that I never had. I have a wife and 2 sons, ages 5 and 7. I have served two overseas tours and I have spent a lot of time away from my family for training and professional development (various Army schools). I have missed several of my kids birthdays and many more important holidays with them. Since my first year in service, my wife has always volunteered with my units and taken good care of the soldiers. Even when I have been overseas, she has taken care of the spouses back on the home front. She has been awarded several awards from the Army including Volunteer of the Year and an Order of Saint Joan D’Arc, and many more. I am a recipient of the Order of Saint George medallion. My boys have always been very interested in my career, my oldest son even says he is going to join the Army and become a veterinary. Both of my kids are very active in jiujitsu and Cub Scouts, they are all around great kids. On my second rotation overseas I was injured and sent home early. I am healed now and ready to get back to being active with my family. I am asking for your help to take my family of 4 to Disney World this year. My boys are obsessed with Lightning McQueen, Toy Story, and Pirates of the Caribbean so this would be a dream come true for them. My career so far has been great but unpredictable so now that I am in recruiting I have more scheduled stability and I would like to take this time to put my family first and thank them for following me along on their crazy journey. I am hoping to surprise my wife and kids with this vacation to thank them for always supporting me and the rest of the Army, even when I am away. I would love to take my family of 4 to Disney World. I am asking for donations for park hopper tickets so I can enjoy a much needed vacation with my family.

Hello, my name is Jesse Spencer. I am currently deployed to the Middle East. I have served in the Army National Guard for 9 years as a Flight Medic and then transitioned over to the Air Force National Guard for the past 2 years as a Firefighter. I would like to respectfully request Four 4-day park hopper tickets to Walt Disney World in Florida. Thank you so much for donating tickets to Disney!! We had a wonderful time reconnecting as a family after deployment. It was our youngest child's first time at Disney and she was in absolute wonder. The big kids loved being able to ride rollercoasters! We loved being able to create memories with our 3 kids and letting them pick out whatever they wanted at the Disney Store. By providing these tickets it took the financial burden off of us, which was greatly appreciated. We cannot thank you enough!!!!
Afghanistan Wounded Vet Family Trip to Disney World

Mar 27th 2023

My name is Bruce Haskin. After serving for nearly 22 years, I am being medically retired related to an injury I received in a VBIED (car bomb) in Afghanistan. I am married to Mary (just celebrated 14 year anniversary), have three children, Austin (11), Katherine (9), and Samuel (7). When I left for Afghanistan in 2019, I planned to take the family to Disney when I returned in April 2020. Well, with the bomb, and then pandemic starting while I was gone, that never came to fruition. Then we moved to Ohio a few months after I returned, bought a house and immediately incurred over $20,000 in unexpected and unplanned major home repairs, and recently another $15,000 in repairs in a house flood while we were away for a few days. I have missed birthdays, anniversaries, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more, and honestly my family and I need a reset, some true fun and relaxation. We will be forever grateful for this opportunity. I appreciate your consideration and kind donation if you choose to do so. I would like to take my family to Disney World. I have three children therefore requesting 5 tickets if that is possible. Thank you.

DISNEY WORLD FAMILY TRIP FOR IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN COMBAT VETERAN

Mar 6th 2023

Hello, my name is Nelson Martinez. I am a retired Marine, husband, and father of 4. I retired summer of 2018 after 22 years of service. Throughout my service, I had various combat tours and assignments, making it difficult to have a Disney World trip, much less plan it. While in the Marine Corps, I dedicated myself to accomplishing the mission first. I often put the Corps and mission first and my family second, and I could only do this through my wife, children, friends, and family's support. Both my wife and I sacrificed much to make our time in the Corps work. I deployed three times to Iraq between 2003 and 2009. I also deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Africa and Afghanistan in 2001-02 and again to Afghanistan in 2010. In between deployments, I was assigned to commands that trained Sailors or Marines for combat deployments or headquarters commands that planned combat deployments for various units. I also spent time at the Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Batallion in 2011. My time at Wounded Warrior Battalion was to take care of injuries I sustained in 2003 deployed to Iraq and a TBI I received in 2010 while deployed to Afghanistan. Between 2001 and 2010, I was heavily deployed and ignored many physical, mental, and emotional issues and injuries to accomplish the mission overseas. Like many veterans during that time, the mission to fight and train for combat came first. Because of that, many veterans, myself included, caused and faced issues not just for ourselves but for our families. Our families sacrificed greatly to help us accomplish our mission. Now that I have been retired for some time and our children are a little older, we can finally plan a trip to Disney World. We have never taken a "true" family vacation for the reasons described above, and we have always taken short weekend trips somewhere or made the best of our children's sports events requiring travel. This year, however, my spring break from college classes and our kids' spring break from elementary and high school line up, making it easy to plan a family trip. Our family is a total of 6. My wife and I have three boys, aged 22, 16, and 9, and our daughter, 14. I am asking for help to purchase 6 tickets for our family to Disney World for the week of March 6-11, 2023. I would greatly appreciate any help to make this dream possible for my family. This trip will be a blessing for our family's many sacrifices. I thank everyone ahead of time for helping me make this dream come true for them SEMPER FIDELIS!

Disney World Family Vacation

Feb 15th 2023

My name is Charles Clontz, and I would love to be able to have a chance to take my 4 kids to Disney World for the week. My two year old son Jackson loves Mickey Mouse!!! We are currently stationed at Fort Hood Texas away from the coast and getting there is pretty expensive when you factor in driving, plane tickets, hotel and park tickets so being able to get this help from Veterans wish would be a great help to my family.I would like to be able to take my kids to Disney World for the holidays, at the start of the year or into the spring if at all possible. I would love to be able to do the 4 day park hopper tickets to enjoy time with my wife and children.

Thank you so much Vet Tix! Because of this extremely generous donation from so many amazing people, my family got to enjoy so much quality time. We were able to laugh, watch our kids believe in magic, and most importantly relax for the first time in a while. While many don't believe Disney is the place to relax, we believe the opposite. Its the perfect place to forget all the real life worries, and to allow ourselves to believe in magic again. Vet Tix and all the amazing people and donations played such a huge part in us enjoying this trip and we cannot say thank you enough!
Post-Deployment Disneyland Vacation!

Jan 14th 2023

Hello! I've been active duty Air Force for the last 9 and a half years and am currently on my fourth deployment. I'd love to be able to take my family on a vacation to Disneyland with 3-day park hopper tickets for three when I return home. I returned home from deployment #3 in February of 2021 and was asked to take deployment number #4 in March of 2022, leaving in April a week after returning home from my honeymoon. My family has been nothing but supportive and strong throughout these back to back tours and I'd love nothing more than to take them on an amazing vacation to spoil them and spend time with them.

Disneyland Dream Vacation

Jan 8th 2023

My name is TSgt. Steven Wilson. I retired from the USAF in 2014 after serving for 17 years, I was deployed to Iraq, on my 4th deployment (2011) I was injured in an IED blast. I received a Purple Heart due to my TBI, I also suffer from hearing loss, back and knee pain, PTSD, migraines and memory issues. I had brain surgery in 2013 and had to cut my military career short due to ongoing symptoms from the blasts. My wife and children have supported me through all of my ups and downs since my injury, it would be nice to spend quality time with my family at the Happiest Place on Earth. I would love to take my large family to Disneyland, my children have not experienced the fun and magic of Disneyland, I would love to share that with them. I would like to request 12 three day park hopper passes so we could all go together. My children are 17, 16, 15 & 15 (twins), 14, 12, 8, 4 and nearly 3 & 3 (twins).

Tickets to this year's Rose Bowl

Jan 2nd 2023

I'm LCDR Kim Hendricks, a Navy Nurse Corps Officer. The University of Utah Utes will be going to the Rose Bowl on January 2, 2023 - having just won the Pac-12 championship. I went to the University of Utah for my undergraduate degree and Utah Football had been a part of my family's lives ever since. I met my husband at the U and we spent many date nights at football games. Once I joined the Navy, we had to settle for games on TV except for the occasional game, this time with our kids, most recently a game last year when they happened to play San Diego State, where we are currently stationed. We will be relocating to the East Coast this summer and the Rose bowl will likely be the last game we can attend while the kids are still young. We would be incredibly blessed for our family of 5 to able to attend the Rose Bowl this year!! I came back from deployment 2 months ago and this would be an amazing family experience. I am requesting 5 tickets so that I can attend with my husband and 3 kids, ages 12, 8, and 4.

Thank You Message From Hero:
To our generous donors - Henry, Marcie, Ulric in honor of Larry Conception, Brian, and Raul: Thank you so much for sending us to the Rose Bowl - the Granddaddy of Them All!! This was an incredible experience to cheer on our team the Utah Utes. My husband and I have been Utah football fans since we attended "the U" as undergrads. We spent many date nights attending home games. Utah Football remains a big part of our lives with our kids as we catch games on TV and attend the occasional game, though being stationed away from home makes that difficult. The Rose Bowl was likely one of the last games we will be able to go to due to our next set of orders and we are so grateful to be able to have those memories with our kids while they are still young. They had a blast, even in the rain! The parking was seamless and somehow there was no traffic in LA. The VIP tailgate passes gave us an opportunity to kick back, enjoy some good food and drinks while playing games with the kids and chatting it up with fellow fans. The seats at the game took our breath away - we had a perfect view of the field from around the 40 yard line, and of course in Utah territory where it was just like home. Having recently returned from deployment, family events become so much more important and meaningful. Reintegration can be challenging and experiences like these really bring our family together. Thank you again for your incredible donation for this once in a lifetime opportunity! We are forever grateful!!!
Fiesta Bowl game for family of KIA

Dec 31st 2022

On September 11, 2001, my husband's Commander Patrick Dunn, USN, was killed while sitting at his desk in the D Ring of the Pentagon. I was left just shy of three months pregnant with our first child. Our daughter was born in 2002. I raised her, to love and respect not only the father she never met but this country and everything it's good for and everything it stands for. And most importantly, her father died for the freedom of the American people. After I remarried, my husband, Paul adopted her 10 days before he left for Iraq. She often jokes with us she has one of the longest names, Alexandria, Patricia Dunn DeSimone, and she can't fit it on the small line on her military ID. We often smile, but deep down, we admire the story her name tells. It was our daughter's choice to grow up peacefully, behind the craziness of everybody knowing our story. She just wanted to be a normal child and blend in with the rest of the kids, her age. Now that TCU has made it to the championship playoffs, our daughter is beyond excited. The cost of tickets is completely out of control, and sadly something that we cannot afford. In November 2020, I suffered an Aortic Dissection. I tore my aorta from my carotid artery to my iliac. I am one of the 3% of Americans that survive this type of event. But since then, I have been in the hospital and have not been able to travel to TCU to attend the mother's weekends and football games like I would like to. I have not been able to work. It would be our one-lifetime wish to be able to attend this game with Allie and our family. We do appreciate all you do for military families, especially the Gold Star Families.

Family Bonding - Walt Disney World 4 Day Hopper+ passes

My name is Cpl Rick Colts, USMC 2007-2012. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran and received a Purple Heart in 2011 while on deployment in Afghanistan from injuries sustained in a IED blast while on patrol as a MWD handler. (KIA Torry L404 - Guardian of the Night) I would love to be able to take my wife and 2 kids to Disney World, that is why I am asking for 4 - 4day park hopper plus tickets. My wife and I have been married for 13yrs and have a 9yr old son and adopted my 15yr old brother back in 2020 from foster care. We moved to FL from CO in 2021 and since getting here our kids are constantly asking when we are going to take them to Disney World, but even living so close the cost of tickets is astronomical. With the help and support from Vet Tix and their donors/sponsors we could finally take our family on a much needed fun vacation so we can bond and continue to grow as a family with the magical wonder that Walt Disney World has to offer.

Disney World surprise trip for the family

My name is SRA Jordan Mccants. I currently on a 6 month deployment. This will be my third holiday season that I have been in training, TDY, or deployed. WALT DISNEY WORLD - ORLANDO, FL WITH MY FAMILY

Dec 16th 2022

My name is John Barbare and I am 42 years old. I was medically retired from the US Army in 2014 after serving for 18 years where I had the best job in the Army - a Psychological Operations Team Chief. After joining the Army in 1997 at the age of 17, my unit traveled extensively, and I enjoyed every aspect of it. My first deployment was to Iraq during the invasion in 2004 and my unit spent over 1 year in Ramadi and Fallujah conducting combat operations on the front line. On my last deployment, in Afghanistan in 2011 I lived in a remote outpost doing Village Stability Operations in Regional Command -East conducting daily patrols for counter-terrorism operations. Six months in, I suffered a TBI and neck injury in an IED blast and spent time in the CASH until I was cleared. I wanted to be back out with my team (Purple Heart #1). Two months later, our outpost received ten 107mm rockets in the evening and I was one of several who didn't make it to the bunker in time (Purple Heart #2). When I woke up moments later, several of us were in the CASH and then medevacked out the next day for further evaluation/treatment at the closest TBI Clinic for multiple injuries. Later, I was flown out of the country to Walter Reed where I spent 2 years recovering from my injuries which affected my legs, spine, eyes, ears, and brain. While I was recovering at Walter Reed, my unit went on the weeklong Yellow Ribbon vacation with their spouses to reconnect. After two years at Walter Reed, the Army, doctors, and my team of medical specialists decided it was in the best interest to medically retire me after 18 years. This didn't sit well with me, as I planned to serve my entire life. I put up a fight and went to two medical review boards with a JAG, but eventually was told that I would never be able to serve again due to the seriousness of my injuries, and would need treatment for the rest of my life - which I still receive at the Veterans Affairs hospital. My wife has been a huge part of my support system throughout all the ups and downs of surgery, rehabilitation, recovery and moving forward after life in the military and being 100% disabled. We have two boys, 4 and 8 years old who bring me joy on a daily basis. We talk and dream about going to Walt Disney World every year, but never seem make it happen. Making this dream come true would allow our family to take a true R and R trip, and allow us to connect as a family and build memories that last a lifetime. It would be a dream come true especially for my kids, but also a healing, therapeutic retreat for my wife and I, since I was never able to take her on the Yellow Ribbon vacation due to my stay at Walter Reed. We would not require transportation to or from Disney World, only 4 park hopper passes for 5 days and a Disney Resort hotel with parking access, that has direct access to and from the theme parks for easy access. Thank you and God bless.

Disney World Family Vacation

Dec 1st 2022

My name is Sgt John Real. I am active duty Air Force going on 10 years of service. I am hoping to take my wife and my son to Disney World when I return from my short tour. My son, Luka, just turned 2 in December 2021. When he was 10 months old, I deployed to Iraq. I came home for a short time, only to leave when he was 21 months for my short tour. I have never got to spend a Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or birthday with him. I would love to take him to Disney for his next birthday shortly after I return. My wife has done such a great job taking care of him and our home while I have been gone. Taking my family to Disney would be the perfect opportunity for our family to spend much needed time together. This would be both mine and my son's first trip to Disney World and this would be the perfect chance for us to bond since I have been away from him for half of his life. We thank everyone who can help make this dream come true for us.

Surprise famiy vacation to Disneyland

Nov 30th 2022

Hello, I'm Technical Sergeant Micah'l Lampkin. I've been in the active-duty Air Force for 13 years. My job is Material Management and I absolutely love it. You can't fly without supply! I married my high school sweetheart, and she followed my lead and decided to join the active-duty Air Force also. We have two beautiful kids, a 4-year-old daughter and a 1.5-year-old son. Being a mil-mil couple has brought us so much closer, but it also has been difficult. Between the two of us we've been through 6 deployments and 10+ TDYs. I just recently got back from a short notice 6 month deployment to Europe. This was the most difficult deployment I've been on as I missed so many firsts with my son, including his first word, first steps, and his first birthday. I also missed my own birthday, my wife's birthday and our anniversary. I know watching both our kids on her own, while still being active duty was a lot for my wife. She sacrifices so much for our family daily, and I would love to make her dreams come true. My wife and kids are huge Disney fans and have been wanting to visit Disneyland for years. I would love to surprise them with 3-day park hopper tickets to Disneyland in California. This would be our first vacation as a family of 4 and it would mean the world to me! Thank you for your consideration and thank you Vettix for giving us the opportunity to share our story.

Disney World Tickets for Post Deployment Family Vacation

Nov 13th 2022

Hi Everyone I am 1SG Donald Spring. I have been in the Virginia Army National Guard for 19 years. Over those years, I have served in 5 active duty overseas deployments to include Afghanistan, Iraq (twice), Jordan and now currently serving in the Horn of Africa for a year. My wife is currently raising our two children, Michael (7) and Aurora (19 Months), and our 3 dogs at our home in Virginia. This deployment has been especially hard on my son as I have missed his birthday, holidays, and his baseball seasons. He loves the Magic of Disney and of course our daughter will as well because she is a Princess after all!I am hoping to take my family to Disney World in November to celebrate my homecoming, my sons 8th birthday and a belated 2nd birthday for my daughter! I would like to request 3 - 5 Day Salute Park Hopper Plus with Genie Tickets, Aurora is still too young to require a ticket.

Hello, my name is SFC Jeremy Clinton and I have been serving in the Army Reserves for the last 19 years and am currently on my 4th deployment to the Middle East. I expect to be home in spring 2022. Previously I served two tours in Iraq (2007-2008 and 2009-2010) and one tour in Afghanistan (most of 2015). My wife and I met in 2006, wed in 2013 and are blessed to share two beautiful daughters, ages 7 and 4. On the civilian side I am a local police officer for the past 9 years (7 if you don't count the time I've spent deployed). I'm not normally one to ask for help, but after speaking with my wife, I decided to do so. Growing up, my family lived paycheck-to-paycheck and never took vacations because quite frankly, my parents didn't have the money for such. Sometimes the electric got turned off or the water turned off for a week or two at a time. Just as any father does, I hope to be able to do more for my children and my wife than my parents were able to do for me and my 5 siblings. I have worked tirelessly for most of my life. I gained my first job two weeks prior to turning 14 at a fast food restaurant and have been employed ever since, only ever having worked a total of 3 jobs. This is in addition to my military service, which I enlisted at 17 years old while I was a junior in high school with my parents' written consent. The military hasn't always been easy and has slowed things for me on the civilian side at times due to multiple deployments. After graduating high school, I enrolled in community college in 2005 and began studying criminal justice. I was a fulltime student while working fulltime. Due to my back-to-back deployments to Iraq, it took me 6 years to earn a 2-year degree (Associates). I was able to get hired as a police officer 14 months later. From my short story, you can see my wife has been by my side from almost the beginning. She is truly an amazing woman that I believe only other veterans' spouses can fully understand extent of the hardships and sacrifices she too has made in support of me, our family, community and country. I am extremely fortunate to have such a dedicated wife, terrific mother and strong role model for my children. With all of that said, my wife and I are in the process of planning a trip to Disney World in Orlando, FL. My wife went there as a child and it'll be a first for my daughters and I. Due to their ages, we had hoped to take them last year (2020) but due to the COVID pandemic, that wasn't possible and then this year (2021), I deployed again. So we are planning for an October/November 2022 timeframe, when Halloween or Christmas décor and activities are happening. My wife and I both feel we have to get our daughters to Disney World in 2022 due to their ages so they can experience "the magic" we've heard others talk about before it's too late and that magic diminishes. We live in the northeast and so we are planning to fly to Orlando, or drive, depending on how the finances workout. All together, we are hoping our vacation can last 7 days with the budget we have. To alleviate some stress and make room in our budget, I am humbly requesting assistance with acquiring tickets to the Disney World parks. My wife and I would like to take our daughters to Magic Kingdom. Again, I don't normally ask others for help but I'm swallowing my pride at this time in hopes that I can give my family the much needed vacation they both need and deserve without sacrificing the experiences due to financial constraints. This is really about them, not me. Any assistance is better than nothing so thank you for your time.

Family vacation to Disney World

Nov 1st 2022

My name is Semeli Toilolo and I am 41 years old. I was born and raised in American Samoa in the village of Vailoa (vuh-ee-lo-ah). I met my high school sweetheart, Margaret Toilolo and we got married in 1998. We have 4 boys and one girl, one grandson and another grandchild on the way. I joined the U.S Army in 2000 as an Infantryman and I was medically retired in 2015. I am a Army Veteran who served for 15 years. Four of those years and three months was the time I deployed away from my family to Iraq. We are now settled in Texas, and my two older boys are now serving in the Army, one stationing in Ft. Lewis and the other in Fort Bragg. I am a stay at home dad and grandpa, trying to make up for the times I have lost with my family. In 2007, when we were stationed in Fort Lewis, Wa, I was deployed with to Iraq with 4-9 Infantry, 2nd Infantry Division to Baquoba, Dyala Province. In one of our dismounted patrols in a crowded market street, a female suicide bomber walked in our formation and blew herself up, and wounded my whole squad, including myself. We were air MEDEVAC out to the nearest CASH in another base in Iraq called LSA Anaconda. They were able to operate and take some of the shrapnel out but left some inside my arm. I was then doing physical therapy and recovery and 6 months later I was deployed with the 1st CAV Division 1-8 CAV, 2nd Brigade, to Iraq 2009-2009, and 2011-2011. In 2014, I was diagnosed with severe PTSD and the ARMY Medboarded me out, after 25 years of service. I had been through several inpatient treatments for PTSD like PRRP, and also had been involved in small groups and wounded warrior peer support group. My injuries are both physical and mental, and it is affecting my family. My kids don't even come to me and they only call and text their mom. I feel as if I am the bad guy in our house and nobody seems to understand me. So we are taking it one day at a time, trying to keep everything together. So I enrolled online to take some courses and I have been reading my Bible, trying to stay close to God and I meditate through prayer. I feel that is helping me to change my way of thinking and take away anxiety and depression. My plan for the future is to stay healthy and be a counselor for those veterans who are going through the same problem as me. I also plan to graduate from GCU with a BA in Christian Studies, which I am currently taking. Right now, my mother-in-law, she is 76 years old is staying with us, we are taking care of her, and my daughter and her son, my two boys and my little dog. My oldest son is deployed to Iraq. My wife doesn't work, she is my caregiver. I also plan to graduate with my BA in Christian Studies from GCU online and use that degree to help someone battling PTSD or similar, despite if they are veterans or civilians. We have always wanted to go to Disney World but financially we can't. If this wish comes true this will be our first family outing vacation ever. I think it would help me to get out of the house and reconnect with my family in that way. It would be a dream come true especially for my kids, but a healing therapeutic retreat for me and my wife as well. Thank you and God bless.

Post Deployment Trip - Discovery Cove Dolphin swim package + 2 parks

Oct 31st 2022

My name is Maj. Nicholas Collazo. I have almost 20 years in service, and multiple deployments and TDYs over the years, and this deployment has been the hardest as our children are now older. My wife is currently working on her Ph.D., homeschooling our youngest three, and moved our oldest to college across the country alone during my deployment. I would love to be able to take my wife and children on a trip to swim with the dolphins with a visit Sea World and Aquatica to spend time and reconnect (with their park bundle pass). This time together will give us chance to have fun and reconnect as a family, doing something we have always wanted to do. I am requesting 6 tickets in total for the dolphin swim park bundle, for myself, my wife, and our four children. Thank you for your support, and God Bless.

Wish to take my stepson to WWE Raw in Dallas, TX

Oct 31st 2022

My Name is Spc. Dennis Colon. I'm rated 100% disabled veteran. I deployed to Iraq in 2005-2007. I just relocated myself in TX. I live on a very fixed income and I'd like nothing more than to reward my stepson, who suffers from autism and take him to WWE Raw at American Airlines Center in Dallas TX. He has always wanted to sit next to the ring and he is a big fan of John Mosley. Life has been so extremely hard. I suffer PTSD, an anxiety disorder and some other conditions and I use a service dog and would require special seating if we were to be able to attend I would be extremely grateful for any help you can provide to us.

Thank You Message From Hero:
On behalf of our family, we wanted to sincerely thank you for the tickets to Disney over Halloween week! We took our daughter to Epcot during the food festival (where we dressed up as vampires and ninjas!), enjoyed Avatar experiences at Animal Kingdom, met Mickey and friends at Hollywood, and enjoyed all the parades at Magic Kingdom. Naturally, our daughter's favorite time at Disney was the pool afterwards. This would not have been possible without the sponsorship from Vettix and of course Frank, Aeron, Robert, Matt, Chaleen, James and Hero's wish. Thank you and blessings.
