Official Vet Tix Partner:
Live Nation and Ticketmaster
Live Nation Entertainment partnered with The Veterans Ticket Foundation - or Vet Tix - in 2014 to give veterans more opportunities to enjoy live events. In March 2019, Live Nation Entertainment donated its one-millionth ticket through Vet Tix. Donations include tickets to popular music concerts, sports, and family entertainment, and provide veterans with the opportunity to spend more time with family, and reintegrate into the communities they fought to protect.
"Live Nation is incredibly proud to be a partner of Vet Tix, and we’re honored to have helped over 1 million service members and their families create life-long memories together at our concerts and events," Michael Rapino, CEO and President of Live Nation Entertainment, said of the partnership.
Through Ticketmaster, Live Nation Entertainment announced a custom ticketing software in 2018 that allows VetTixers to view ticket availability in real time. The system verifies the military service of applicants and automatically notifies them when events they’re interested in become available. It also simplifies the ticket donation process for artists, venues, theaters, and clubs, which helps put more tickets into the hands of deserving veterans.
Attending live events helps reduce stress for military service members, veterans, and their families. Donations help break down the cost barriers that keep many veterans from being able to enjoy one of the great all-American experiences. Providing these experiences is just one way Vet Tix and its partners are able to honor military members and their families.
