The performance was heart-warming. The 4men sang EXCELLENT four part harmony to so many Irish toons. One performed a small gig…. Could have seen more of that???? This was something like our seventh time visiting The Rialto. It is a cool, unique venue. It's an old theater converted to a multi-purpose entertainment facility. The seating and layout can be adjusted to accommodate acts and activities. When you walk into the lobby, you get the warm, familiar feeling of movie theaters from yesteryear, which evokes fond childhood memories. We sat in Row S, on the right facing the stage, which was perfect! I have been a long-time fan of Christopher Cross, but I never dreamed I'd actually see him live. Wow! He makes that guitar sing with fingers of lightening! His band, consisting of artists from around the world, were also phenomenal! My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves listening to some familiar as well as new tunes from his latest recordings. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, The Rialto Theatre, Christopher Cross, your band, Security, and your amazing crews, for a spectacular show! The concert was magical! Brody Dolyniuk is a great talent and a dead ringer for Peter Gabriel! His voice and stage presence is just like the original and we had a fabulous time. The Rialto Theater is the best venue in the world! Thanks Vettix!

Last Sunday my wife and I were fortunate to attend a concert featuring the group Ladysmith Black Mambazo at the Rialto Theater in Tucson AZ. It is rare that groups perform together for more than a few years. However, in the case of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Joseph Shabalala formed the group in 1959. He retired in 2014 and four of his sons remain in the group. The tight harmonies and pace of the music highlight the abilities of the 10 men who make up the group. They celebrate the last 5 decades of South Africa’s history. Listening to their songs as they move from English to Zulu and back to English is awesome. One finds one’s self wishing for an understanding of both languages. We greatly appreciate the efforts of those who had a part in our obtaining the tickets: VetTix, the Rialto theater and others who are behind the scenes providing these opportunities. I thank the security and other staff who provided assistance with my disability throughout the evening, especially two security folks who kept the front doors open until my wife appeared with the car.
