Thank you Vet Tix and the Phoenix Mercury for showing me and my family a great time by granting my Hero's Wish. I requested five tickets to the game and we were not only given floor seat tickets and suite parking. We were also provided with all our meals and drinks. During one of the time outs they put my entire family on the megatron to show their support and at the end of the game we were able to get autographs from the entire team. Thanks for an awesome family experence!

Cubs Tickets

Sep 2nd 2012

Hi, I'm a proud husband and father to 5 great kids (4 girls and a boy..I know I know) who take turns driving my wife crazy and helping to keep her sane while I'm deployed. I grew up near Wrigley Field, and I have great memories of walking to the park, listening to the band play outside, smelling the hot dogs and beer, and listening to the crowd. I was outside the stadium for the first night game (8/8/1988), at least until it rained and changed the official night game until the following night. Due to our military committments over the past 18 years, I've been unable to take the kids to a game. My son was born on 8/8/2008, and I was sure that was an omen that the Cubs were going to win the World Series! That didn't happen, but I'd love to take my son (and the rest of the family of course) to their first Cubs game when I return from deployment, and that will be the year when the Cubbies finally win the World Series!

I couldn't believe the incredible seats provided to us, right behind home plate! My kids experienced their first Chicago-style hot dog, enjoyed the Wrigley Field experience, and have solidified their place as future Cubbie fans! I can't thank you enough for making this wish come true. Thank you and God Bless! Steve Warren

A New Yorker's Dream - Yankees game

Aug 27th 2012

My wife and I have not been home to New York since I came back in the military in 2007. I'm currently on my 3rd deployment since then and I know it's been hard on her. After this deployment I wanted to give her a great vacation back home to see our families. Neither one of our parents have ever met my 2yr old son. Unfortunately the flight from El Paso, TX to NY is around $2000. This leaves little money to really go to many events or attractions while we're home. My wife and I are huge NY Yankees fans. They have a program called the Yankees Inside Experience. They only do this a few times during the season and one happens to be going on during the time frame I'm home during one of the most exciting games of the year, when the Yankees play the Redsox. With this experience, you get to take pictures with the championship trophy and meet players, plus the game. The tickets for this are $700 per person. This would also be my son's first baseball game and wanted it to be very special. If I would be able to give this experience to my family it would mean the world . My family has been through many tough times with all these deployments and would love to be able to give this to them. Thank You and God Bless

Disneyland

Aug 20th 2012

I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and will return back home in July. I would love more than anything to take my 5 yr. old daughter to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. She has had a rough start to her life being that she was born with no kidney function and was on dialysis from birth to 1-1/2 yrs. old. She has been through numerous surgeries with her biggest one being her kidney transplant on Nov 4, 2008. I donated one of my kidneys to my little girl and she has been healthy and active ever since. It would be a wish come true to be able to take her to Disneyland with my wife and I.

One Last Concert - Celine Dion in Las Vegas

Jul 28th 2012

Hello, My name is SGT Matthew Hite. My wife and I are a dual military family with a 6 year old son. We have been together for (4) years and married now for almost one year. I am headed out on my 3rd deployment in May and my wife is a huge Celine Dion fan. You could say she is my wife's idol. Due to financial hardships it hasn’t been possible for me to surprise her with tickets to see Celine in concert. My wife and I do not get a lot of time together and with this 3rd deployment approaching fast, it is a very stressful time...an emotional roller coaster. If I could have one wish granted it would be to take my wife to see Celine Dion Concert in concert at Caesar’s Las Vegas. Thank you for considering my Hero’s Wish!

Thank You Message From Hero:
I first would like to apologize for the lateness of this letter of appreciation, I have recently been moved by the Military and it was been rather stressful moving and starting a new job. Below I wrote about my experience with my wife at the stay at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Our Celion Dion Concert, and our time in Las Vegas. We arrived at Caesars Palace in the afternoon. We were taken by the heat a little bit but totally taken in by the sights and sounds. While we were waiting to check in, there were two hosts who greeted us. We were checking in a little early so they offered to take our bags and bring them to our room when it was ready. We decided to go and eat on the property of Caesars and had by far the best food; of course we had some cocktails. The Bartender at Caesars was very friendly and just happened to be from Minnesota like us! He gave us some good tips on staying in Vegas. Shortly after our meal and drinks the Hotel called us and said our room was ready. We went to get our keys and went to our room. We walked in to our room and were BLOWN AWAY. Everything from the view to how much room there was. The bed by far was our favorite as it was like laying in the clouds. The next day was my favorite. This was the day for the Celion Dion concert. We started off our day taking in all the sights and sounds down the strip. Did a little shopping and walked through almost every casino. Later that afternoon we decided to check out the pool at Caesars Palace, again we were blown away from how elaborate it was. The attention to detail in the structure was flawless. We laid out by the pool for a couple hours and of course had some drinks and something to eat. Please note; this was by far the best pool to be at. The atmosphere, people, and casino hosts are what made it. We finished our time at the pool and went up to our room to get ready for the main attraction in Las Vegas...,Celion Dion Concert. We headed down to the will call desk for our tickets and once we had them in our hand, it was all to true. My wife was shaking because she was so nervous. We met with our host and others who were going to meet Celion Dion. Anticipation has led up to this point. Finally the moment came and we were escorted down to the meet and greet area, While waiting, a gentleman approached us introducing him to my wife and I. I did not think twice until a minute later a woman approached my wife and I, who stated the fine gentleman who just introduced himself to my wife and I was the president of Caesars. I was dumb struck and to this day wish I could take back time to simply say "Thank You" from my wife and I for them providing the opportunity of a life time. After I cleared my head, it was our turn to finally meet Celion Dion! I kept quite as this was a moment for my wife. This was my "Hero's Wish" coming true! My wife didn't •have much to say either as she was star struck I think. I did thank Celion Dion and told her how we got to meet her. After my wife turned ghost white, we were ushered up to our seats for the show. The show I cannot put into words as it was by far incredible. Not only because Celion Dion was putting on an amazing show, but the look on my wife's face was priceless. After the show we ended up at the Celion Dion gift shop where I made sure to treat my wife to whatever she wanted. She picked a DVD/CD combo which she can watch or listen to anytime. We ended the night on a nice walk down the strip. I wish I could find better words to describe my trip, but the experience we had cannot be put into enough words. Pictures don't even do justice, I would personally like to thank Veteran Tickets Foundation for taking this BIG Hero's wish on. Youfollowed through and kept in contact with me over a year. This shows how much dedication and true support you have not only for Soldiers but for the care of our families also. Your organization continues to grow and strive to support all of us service members, even our spouses and family. This just shows how passionate your company is so THANK YOU! I would also like to personally thank Caesars Palace President and everyone involved. You made my wife and I experience the best I could ever ask for. We truly were put in a dream hotel. We even donated $200 to your slot machines! It's the least we could do I guess! But seriously, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. I know with such a big organization and business, taking YOUR time and money to show your support for an Army Service Member and his wife are beyond words. Just please note, you made my "Hero's wish" come true and for that words cannot express the deep gratitude. We hope to make it back to Vegas one day and will defiantly be staying at your hotel. Thank you again to all organizations. If I could personally come shake your hand, I would. My point of contact below is below if you have any questions or need to get in contact with me. "THANK YOU AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS"

St. Louis Cardinals Game & meet the team

Jul 21st 2012

My name is SPC Simily, David, I deployed to southern Afghanistan in March of 2011 and returned home in March of 2012. During my deployment I received two Purple Hearts for receiving two TBI's (traumatic brain injury) and shrapnel. The first one was a dismounted patrol, when I walked up on an IED. The second one was when my lead vehicle hit a 200 pound IED. I suffer everyday due to my brain injuries. I know its not as serious as some others, but my injuries will be with me and my family forever. My wish is to attend a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game and meet the Cardinals players before a game at Busch Stadium. We are huge baseball fans and the Cardinals are my favorite team. We go to as many games as possible. It has always been a wish of mine to go on the field and meet them. The reason I'm requesting four tickets is so I can bring my wife and children to the game as well.

The Chicago Cubs Experience

Jul 1st 2012

I am currently serving my second deployment in Afghanistan and will be coming home in a couple of weeks. My wish is to really get to experience a Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley field with my wife and parents. I have been a Cubs fan since I was young and because I have been stationed in Colorado, we haven't been able to afford tickets when we visit my family there due to the high cost of them. My wife is a huge baseball fan as well and would truly enjoy the game as well as the history of Wrigley with me. Of the three years we have been married I have been away for two of them and I want take advantage of the time we will have together during this leave. Between her and my parents I have had so much support and part of this wish is to somehow show them how much I appreciate it. It would mean a lot to me and to them. We will be going to visit my family June 15th to July 5th so either the Red Sox or Astros would be fine. Preferably a weekend game as my father works during the week but I would be grateful for anything during that time period. Thank you all so much for what you do it truly makes a difference. I have family that lives down there that would let us stay with them. So, my Hero's wish is for 6 Disneyworld Park Hopper tickets to take my son and the rest of my family to the most fun place on earth. Wounded Warrior Wishes to take his family to see Kenny Chesney & Tim McGraw @ LP Field

Jun 23rd 2012

I am a wounded warrior and just had back surgery today. My family has sacrificed so much for me, from deployments to doctor visits, they are always there for me, I have missed so much from watching my son grow up, birthdays, holidays, anniverseries and so much more. My wish is to take my family to see Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw Brothers of the Sun tour in Nashville on June 23. It will be perfect timing with my kids' birthdays coming up and our anniversary. I could really use a good time after this major surgery :) We are a large family - my wife, myself and five kids...so to be honest, it is too expensive for me to be able to pull off something like this on just my income. I would need five tickets for my wife, myself, two older daughters and oldest son. My youngest daughter and youngest son are too young to attend.

My wife was SUPER excited when Faith Hill got on stage to sing with her husband, Tim McGraw - extra special to us since it was the song that we first danced to at our wedding! And of course our teenage daughters were excited to see Kenny Chesney! And our son was thrilled when Matt Hasselback threw footballs into the audience!! Again - thank you so much !!!! Sadly I have never been offered a chance to meet her due to losing custodial rights for missing paternity court due to my 1st deployment. Disney World Dream

May 20th 2012

My name is SFC Nicole Durbin and I left my family on April 11th of 2011. Our adventure begins when the Army PCS’d me from WI to MI, before the move we could say we were given the short end of the stick leaving us with little money and a lot of pain in our family. Once we got to MI, hoping for a better life and ready to start fresh, I was informed the unit was deploying, a bit of a shock since we moved to MI in Nov and the unit was deploying in Apr. We decided it would be good way to save money and take the family on a Disney trip since we had gone through as much as a family could handle. Shortly after my departure my husband informed me the house we currently live in needed $2500 worth of electrical and plumbing and if it wasn’t taken care of they would have to be removed from the home, about a month later our transmission in our car seized up costing us $3000. Recently on my R&R when my husband picked me up from the airport, heading home we were in an accident, a part from a semi truck flew off and smashed into the front of our vehicle. Besides starting the R&R off badly, my children were beyond surprised to see me it was the best Christmas gift a mother could ask for. For the past 9 months I've watched my babies grow up from Skype, little videos and pictures, my husband has done a phenomenal job with the boys since roles have been reversed in life. This deployment has been really hard on my youngest son not understanding why mommy is gone for so long, my oldest just keeps telling me he wants me to come home. When I returned from R&R I was informed our house is so outdated that there is no insulation in the house and it needs to be done as soon as possible to keep the house warm for the kids and pipes freezing. I really want to take my family to Disney World despite all the mishaps in the past 9 months, I just want to give my children a vacation and see the biggest smiles on their faces. I think this would be a dream come true; Regardless if you answer my wish or not thank you for all the wishes you have answered and the support you provide us. This trip is planned for when I come home from deployment. I would need 3 Adult and 1 child 4 day Park Hopper Disney World Orlando tickets for: My spouse, myself, son (11 years old) and son (5 years old) We would arrive on 20 May thru 25 May 2012. Thank you so very much if you answer our wish.

Disney World Vacation - Renew vows three wishes in one

May 10th 2012

I am currently in Afgahnistan and scheduled for block leave in May 2012. My wife and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary January 16th 2012 and again for the 4th time I was not there. When we were married we were not in a typical wedding and I never proposed in the conventional dream way. My Hero's wish is to take my son (1yr), daughter (5 yr), and wife to Disney World in Orlando Florida in May and somehow arrange a public vow renewal where I can wear my Dress uniform and get on one knee for my much deserving wife. She has supported me through every moment of our life and my career with minimal complaint. I would love to show her that she and my Family are what keeps me focused and able to maintain my resiliancy through deployments and my Army career. Additionaly this would grant the wish of my daughter which asks if I will take her to Disney and get her cotton candy. There is no date but if this dream is possible I am sure I can get the date arranged to work together for this. Thank you again for all you do as sponsors and supporting Soldiers.

Kansas Motor Speedway Sprint Cup Race

Apr 22nd 2012

My Hero's wish is to enjoy a full Nascar weekend with pit passes and if possible, meet Dale Jr. Don't really care which race or where. I am currently in Afghanistan on deployment with the 45th IBCT, 1/179 INF BN, E Co 700 BSB as a part of the Recovery/Maintenance Team. We have suffered many losses here. While here many of us where able to watch a few of the races. Many of us ordered cars and trucks and started a RC race schedule with qualifying and points. Of course, I put the "88" and a few logos on the side of my truck. Sent pictures to JR Motorsports. They thought it was cool. I didn't get to make all the races due to missions but, when I did, it was a good way to get away from the elements. What a way to get back into the swing of things after I get home. I am not real sure when that will be yet. Should be before the race at Texas. My request would be at a track that I have not been to yet. Maybe Kansas Speedway? Like I said earlier, any track is good with me.

Patriot That Loves the Patriots

Dec 25th 2011

My wish is for New England Patriots tickets for a Sunday or Monday game. Whether it's the current season or the following season. My wife, being a veteran and a Patriots fan as well, would be ecstatic to be able to attend a game. Since my injury the thing thing that heals me the most is her happiness. This would do that more than most anything else. I married into a New England Patriots family which makes me a fan by proxy. My wife, who is also a veteran (OIF) experienced as much emotional trauma as I did physical trauma when I was injured during OEF. This would be more for her than me but her happiness is what continues to heal my wounds. Thank you

I thought I had submitted this but I couldn't find it in a search so here goes... This was a wonderful gift. The seats were absolutely amazing. We had such a great time. It was a treat for me as much as it was for my wife and her parents. Thank you so much. And I apologize for not having an image... we were having so much fun we didn't have a chance to take a picture (and my iPhone died)

Tennessee Titans v. Jacksonville Jaguars

Dec 24th 2011

I am returning from Deployment to Iraq, going home to Nashville, TN for Christmas to visit my wife and my twin sons. I wish to attend the Tennessee Titans vs Jacksonville Jaguars game on the 24th of December, 2011, and am unable to afford tickets due to child support payments. I would love it if I could give this to them as a Christmas gift and also as a gift to myself. Thank You.

Dallas Cowboys game Christmas Eve

Dec 24th 2011

As a born Texan (my father was in the Air Force, so we didn't spend a lot of time there)I have always been a rabid Dallas Cowboys fan through thick and thin, the thick times obviously being their Super Bowl wins in the 90s and the thin times being any time they don't make the playoffs. I have been deployed four times, for a total of about 40 months, I expect to be home sometime in late November, early December from the most recent tour in Iraq. I would love to take my wife and two boys, ages 7 and 4 to a Cowboys game, it would be a great bonding event for us as we all love sports. My wife and boys have been a great support to me as we have dealt with many difficult situations that not only has my units gone through, but also the difficulties that being gone from your family bring, each time in new locations, with new people. I think this would be a great way to express gratitude to the people who ache and suffer every step of the way along with their soldier. I would love to attend the December 11 game against the NY Giants at Cowboys Stadium as I am currently stationed at Ft Hood. We would forever be greatful if you could make this dream come true.

We had the most amazing time ever at the Cowboys-Eagles game on Christmas even though the Cowboys ended up on the losing end. It was truly awesome to be treated like royalty in a Silver Suite at Cowboys stadium. I was able to bring along 7 other veterans and rabid Cowboys fans as well. A big thanks to the donors and their generosity!!

Dallas Cowboys Game

Dec 24th 2011

My husband, Major Kevin Conley, was with the DE National Guard and deployed to Bamain, Afghanistan, with the Embedded Training Team. He left DE Jan 8, 2010. While in Afghanistan, he helped build schools and mentor the government. He returned injured to Indiana on Dec 5, 2010, and arrived in Ft. Meade/Walter Reed on Dec 15, 2010. He was able to see our two children and myself on weekends, but couldn't return home until April 2011. He is home while seeking medical care and scheduling his surgeries. His first back surgery was 8/11/11, and we're still hoping the feeling will return in his leg. Kevin is currently on medical hold, and will remain on Active Duty until his surgeries and recoveries are complete. We were given about an 18 months. Since my husband hasn't "returned" from Active Duty, he was not included in a Welcome Home ceremony. My husband is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He has always wanted to go to Texas to watch a Thanksgiving game. I'd love to see his wish come true. Tickets to the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Game would be a great welcome home!

My family and I have been life time Cowboys Fans. We have never been to a Cowboys game. When we received the tickets to this even though it was Christmas eve, we drove 24 hours straight to get the tickets in time the day before the game. Whish we could have spent more time but we drove 24 hours straight home Christmas Day. Thank you for a memory we'll have for a life time and the penultimate in family bonding. Hopefully we will get a chance to go back. The Conley Family

Walt Disney World Orlando

Dec 19th 2011

My name is SSgt Dennis Deppen and I left my family on February 15th of 2011. When I said good bye my 4 year old son Xavier and my then 2 month old daughter Sabia and lovely wife Shayla I left with the understanding that I would only be gone for 7 months. Shortly after my departure I learned I would be here an entire year. Sharing that news with my wife was heart breaking. We decided that it would be best to come home during Christmas which would be almost 10 months since I've been home. For the past 9 months I've watched my kids grow up from email to email and skype to skype video call. This has been really hard on my son as he doesn’t truly understand why Daddy has to be gone so long. Regardless of what answer I give him he just wants to know when Daddy is coming home. I really want to take him to Disney World as he sees the commercials and constantly tells me that he wants to go see Mickey, Donald and everyone. With it being the holidays I think this would be dreams come true. Regardless if you answer my wish or not thank you for all the wishes you have answered and the support you provide us. This trip is planned for my R&R when I come home in December and then return for 2 more months in Afghanistan. I would need 2 Adult and 1 child 4 day Park Hopper Disney World Orlando tickets for: My wife, myself, son (4 years old) and daughter who is 1 will not need a ticket. We would arrive on 19 December.

When I came home after being gone so long it really was breath taking and emotional for me. When your away for 10 months from your wife and kids, so much changes and you want so bad to enjoy every second of it until you return. It was truly a blessing to recieve that phone call and hear that someone had donated tickets for me my wife son and daughter would be able to go to Disney for free. I can't tell you what a relief it was and how greatful I am. To those individuals out there that donated the money for my family to enjoy this time that will will remember the rest of our lives I want to thank you. You are a blessing to our lives and it meant the world. Semper Fi Dennis Deppen

Round of golf at Torrey Pines

Dec 19th 2011

I will be in San Diego on vacation with my family after my deployment. I wish to play a round of golf at Torrey Pines (South course). If I would have known about this organization before, I made my vacation plans in Monterey, I've always wanted to play Pebble Beach, but Torrey is on that wish list too.
