After a second deployment during which I missed all the major holidays and most of my boys school year, it was a welcome opportunity to attend a football game together as a family. This would not happen without the generosity of Notre Dame. The campus is beautiful and the ushers are helpful and friendly. It was a spectacular day!

Thank you for the wonderful tickets. Because of the generosity of the University of Notre Dame and private donors. My family was able to attend this game. I have a niece who attends the university and my family was able to spend time with her on this date. My father is a Vietnam veteran and not only enjoyed the game but spoke with other veterans at the event. For he and my mother, it was their first time attending a football game in N.D.. thank you for the wonderful memories they now have. I was unable to attend as I started a new shift with my sheriff department.

Danny, on the left, served in both the Marines and Army. I was Air Force.

Dan and I are both permanently and totally Disabled Vets. We've been hunting and fishing together for several years now, as our bodies allow, and it was fun getting Dan to see his first football game insided Notre Dame Stadium.

A quick note about the Notre Dame Stadium staff: As soon as they found out that Dan and I were there via VET TIX, they took us straight to the VIP line (usually for players' guests and families). So thank you to the ND staff.

Once at our seats, and before the game started, we asked the lady sitting behind us to take the picture, making sure she got "Touchdown Jesus" in the background. I hope our sign is legible enough (the only part I can't make out is at the top where it says: "TICKETS DONATED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME".

We had a great time. Thank you, Vet Tix!
