Jan 9th 2015 My name is Michael Costanzo, I am severely disabled veteran. I work for a non-profit where I help my fellow veterans, even giving from my own pocket so they can eat. I have stretched myself pretty thin. I really need to take a break. I am looking to take my family on some much needed R&R. We need to reconnect as a family. I cannot remember the last time we have all gotten in the car, headed to a vacation spot and enjoyed each other. We are looking to go to Orlando, FL and visit Universal for two days. There are 6 of us. |

Dec 21st 2014 My name is Master Sergeant Ryan Reed. I married my high school sweetheart Meredith at 18 and joined the United States Air Force in 1998. We have two sons, Greyson and Ashston who are 10 and 12. I've been deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and the Defense of the Arabian Gulf for the last 7 months and will re-deploy next week back to Hill AFB in Utah. After our re-integration period, we are planning to drive home and spend Christmas in Phoenix for the first time in several years. The event I was hoping to attend is the Cardinals vs Seahawks game at University of Phoenix Stadium on the 21st of December. I've been going to Cardinals games since I was 8 years old when they first moved to Phoenix in 1988, but have only been fortunate enough to attend a handful of games since joining the Air Force in 1998. In England, I woke my two young boys at 3am and literally cried while watching the Cardinals beat the Eagles to finally go to the Superbowl. Both of my sons, now 10 and 12, continue to wear their jerseys to school in spite of a fair bit of teasing from the local kids...and in my 16-year career, I have yet to meet another Cards fan who I could watch a game with, or really understood what it means to have been a fan all these years (although that did work out in my favor in 2001, when the Cardinals Cheerleaders came to visit us in Kuwait) I would love nothing more than to have an opportunity to take my incredible family to a game, and experience that amazing feeling of camaraderie that comes from being surrounded by thousands of cheering Cardinals' fans! Thank you |

Dec 21st 2014 My name is SGT Newell, Catherine & I am currently deployed. This 9 month deployment has been mentally and physically exhausting due to living in an austere environment, experiencing multiple IED blast traumas, closing down the camp while retrograding equipment, building a new hospital in a different locations, organizing/setting up a new hospital, & lastly missing my family. I have been happily married for the the past 8.5 years. We have 3 beautiful children, Will (15), Khalil (9), and Aniya (6). We are a dual military family & we have been separated a few times, thus causing hardship on our family. I have missed my wedding anniversary, kids & husbands birthdays & summers with kids. During the duration of my deployment, my husband Kyle, has held the fort down as a single parent caring for all 3 children, while still fulfilling his active duty obligation. We have not been on a honeymoon in 7 years. I think it would be grand if I could take my family on an excursion to a Dallas Cowboys Home game. Football is a big deal in our household. It unites our family and friends. Everyone wears their football jerseys & it's game on! My husband has been a life-long Cowboys fan since he was a child. The kids are following in his foot steps. Since the new Dallas stadium was built, Kyle has always dreamed of attending a game. I would like to show a token of my appreciation by taking him to a particular game- Dallas Cowboys v. Indianapolis Colts on 21 Dec 2014. I am requesting that particular day due to me still being currently deployed & I should be redeploying during Thanksgiving. This would be a great welcome home & holiday gift. I would love to see the surprise look on my family's face. I am asking for 4 to 6 tickets due to us having a family of 5, & if possible having my husband's close friend attend as well. I would be ever so grateful for whatever amount of tickets you all could offer, even if it's just 2 tickets. I appreciate the opportunity & thank you all for even considering my application. |

Dec 20th 2014 My name Is David C Beck I'm medical disabled veteran a wounded warrior. I'm a loving husband and a father of three children. I'm struggling with Combat PTSD. Everyday is a battle with my emotions. I stress more than I should be and feel there's no escape sometimes. I always think about the event that had to me in Afghanistan when I got blown up with an IED. I am going through some financial hardships from transitioning to the civilian world. I barely have enough to pay for my bills but I am making it. The event I'm requesting for my wish is for my family to have a Disney Christmas vacation. I always saw package deals at a Disney resort with tickets. I never stayed at a resort before I never saw a Disney Christmas Parade and I would love my family to have a special Christmas. It would bring joy to my family because I know Christmas is going to be real short this year and my daughter been doing real well in school and I would like to reward her with this trip. Also my son birthday is on DEC 23 so it's a perfect b-day gift for him. Thank you for your time reading this. I know this is a long shot but asking doesn't hurt. |

Nov 29th 2014 My name is SPC Justin L. Duke. I have just returned from a tour in Afghanistan and have never had the opportunity or luxury of attending one of the greatest rivalries in college football. My mother and myself are on opposite sides of the fence, she loves Alabama and I love Auburn, so I would like to take my Mother, Father, Wife, Children, and myself. My children are four and two so they get the luxury of sitting in laps. I know this would be a once in a lifetime event for a family like ours to all go. I thank and appreciate everything you do for soldiers. |

Nov 9th 2014 After 12 years on off with the Marine Corps I was injured while running a scout team through the city of Fallujah, Iraq. I spent 7 months back and forth from a hospital in Bethesda, Maryland only to have the VA lose all my medical records. I've had a battle nonstop since 2008 just to get a proper claim submitted. I've battled PTSD and lost my best friends due to this epidemic. I finally feel as if I'm in control of this and heading in the right direction being a good husband and father. Still being run through the system with the VA I was supposed to be at 100% since I'm not allowed to work due to a spinal issue and brain injury. So I found a Purple Heart site that offered to send my family to Disney World as long as I saved money for our flights. Well it turned out to be a scam and like that the site was pulled. I don't want to let my family down and would appreciate any help. Our plan was to stay at Disney for a few days then drive to Space Coast and stay a few more days. Any info even on discounts or to help save any money would be greatly appreciated. |

Nov 2nd 2014 My name is Richard Olson. I was medically retired out of the military after stepping on an IED. I received a number of injuries severe PTSD, severe TBI which resulted in me learning how to walk and talk again. Ankle injury, jaw and teeth injury, shoulder injury, burn on my face and and severe tinnitus. During my 13 years in the army I have trained so much, been on 5 deployments and then after arriving home I had hospital stays and time alone for personal recovery. I am trying so hard to find my place in my family and bond with my children who I have missed out on their lives so much. I have a 13 year old daughter, a 11 year old son and a 9 year old son with down syndrome that I am trying to get to know and understand. I am originally from Massachusetts and many times I missed Patriots games on TV and opportunities to go. That is one thing everyone in my family loves, It would mean the world to me to be able to go to a Patriots game as a family and enjoy that experience, that would be a priceless gift to me. I also want to do this as a thank you to my wife as well for standing by me and raising great kids, taking care of me when I was at my worst and needed her the most, she is so self less and has been the back bone of this family, I know she would never stop smiling to be able to watch a game in person. I have lost soldiers and friends, it is something I battle with everyday I have good days and bad days and I feel bad for my family that this is the way I am now. I am asking for 4 tickets to see the Patriots play. My wife advised me that our son with downs syndrome unfortunately will be over stimulated and not be able to handle it. God Bless. |

Oct 30th 2014 My name is Spec 4 David Richards. I have a beautiful and very supportive wife who's Native American and her name is Blue. She is one of the greatest things in my life. We have been blessed with 4 children: David, Dawn Marie, Heather and Kellianne. I served in Vietnam from Dec. 1967 thur Nov. 1968. I was a dog handler. I walked point on an ambush and Recon squad until I was hit on Oct. 20th 1968. My dog saved the squad from being ambushed. The second time she saved a squad from being ambushed she was awarded a Bronze Star for her contribution. I'm a service connected disabled veteran. My wife and children put up with a lot abuse while I was servicing my tour in Nam. When I returned to 'The World' due to this not being a popular conflict, Americans elected to express their anti-war feelings both with words and by throwing objects; on those that served and their families. This experience led me to ask myself if this was America? I served to honor my uncles memory who died after being captured by the enemy in the Korean War. I believe in freedom for all and respect all individuals. I would like to show my family the other-side of the American spirit by taking them to Disneyland. I would like 6 Disneyland 2 day park hopper passes (tickets), But we would be happy and appreciative of any cost relief offered. We plan on going in Oct. 2014 on the 30th and returning home on Nov. 1st. God bless those that have served, their families and God Bless America. Thank you for your consideration. |

Sep 14th 2014 My name is Roger Moore. I wish to take my family to see the Tennessee Titans. My wife and I are huge Titans fans. We would need 6 tickets for the family. I really want to do this trip for my wife. She has gone through a lot during the years, especially putting up with my issues. Her brother was KIA in 1967 in Vietnam when she was 17, she was married to me in 1968 and had a wounded husband at 18, was raising her 2 year old brother our first son at 18 and managed to take care of me during the early years of my disability. She was a keeper all the way. She loves doing things with family so I would love to be able to take the crew to Tennessee for an extended week end and as part of the trip enjoy a Titans game. I know it would be an event the whole family will remember. I've spent the last 45 years doing finance and accounting for the hospitality industry. Retired a couple of years ago and travel a lot. Was recently diagnosed with the impacts of Agent Orange. I'm the taller of the two in the picture from 68. Thank you for all you do. |
