Aug 1st 2014 Hi my name is MSgt Jennifer Smith. I am married to my wonderful husband, Jerry and we have four beautiful children. My children are Skylah (12), Jerry (8), Bella (4) and Christian (18 mos). I am currently serving my 4th deployment and will miss 3 of my children's birthdays, as well as Thanksgiving, Christmas, my anniversary, Easter and possibly Mother's Day. I would love to treat my children to a wonderful vacation at Walt Disney World. I dream of them everyday and a gift of 6 park hopper tickets to Walt Disney World will put so many smiles on their faces, that it will almost fill the void in my heart from missing them so much. My husband and I have wanted to take our children for a while now and can never make it a reality. My husband is also military, so we have done our fair share of separations. It has been very difficult on our children and I thank God every day that I have them in my life. I would really love to spoil them for a couple of days at the greatest place on earth. |

Jul 10th 2014 My name is SFC Antonio Corona. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan, and am burned out with deployments. This is my second tour here since I last left here in 2011 along with previous tours in Iraq. I try to put on a smile in every deployment. My pain goes out to my loving wife Sabrina, whom I left home alone with my four boys. My boys ages Antonio III(10) Jason(8) Jake(2) and Jayden(1). Yes I left my wife with 2 toddlers, my last deplyment in 2010-11 she was pregnant with Jake, only for me to return home and then we had Jayden. So I been pretty busy, I cannot recall the last time we had an actual full family event. I should return home sometime early in 2014. I would love (6) tickets to Disney World in Orlando for all of us, but if (4)is sufficient, I could pay the rest out of pocket. Thank you for the support and God bless. |

Jun 20th 2014 My name is SGT Yascavage, Joshua. I am currently deployed in Kuwait. I have tried to make the best out of every day. It has been a very trying last few months due to my wife Brooke, having heart issues and constantly in the hospital. We have two kids a girl Stella (4) and boy Josh Jr. (1). I missed Christmas, Thanksgiving and will be missing both their birthdays this month. My pain goes out to my loving wife, whom I left home alone with the kids away from her family, and having a hard time trying to juggle the kids and her medical appointments. I should return home sometime in May 2014. I would love (4) park hopper tickets to Disney World in Orlando for all of us. We have been trying to plan this for a while but can only afford the hotel and never the tickets. Thank you for the support and God bless. |

Jun 7th 2014 My Name is Kevin McMains and I served 11 years and 50 days in uniform. I was a Casualty Liaison NCOIC. I am now retired due to my injuries sustained in Iraq. My story today is not focused on my many overseas tours, but my recovery from being paralyzed by a 120mm rocket blast. We were 3 days shy of coming home from our 16 month deployment to Iraq, when I was hit with a rocket. Unfortunately I did not have my gear on. It twisted my spine like a candy cane. I was going through a rough time emotionally, having to deal with my physical limitations, and a wife that just did not understand what I was going through. She filed for divorce, after 15 years of being together and 3 beautiful daughters. I was a complete wreck. Everything in my life was upside down and heading for rock bottom. One day I had given up and attempted suicide. With the blessings of God, I failed. I did not know what PTSD even was until this moment. I woke up the next morning and realized, I am better than this. My oldest daughter asked me when I was coming home. I told her it might be a long time. The Army was all I knew. I joined when I was 17. My family has a long line of military men and women. The Army saw my progress and placed me in the Warrior Transition Unit, to see what my status would be. I was in the WTU and never could get 100%. While recovering in the WTU, I was a full time daddy, full time soldier, and full time college student. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science. After a long year and some change they decided, it would be best for me to retire. So now I am retired and helping other vets in my small community gain the understanding that even when things are rough, there is that light at the end of the tunnel. No matter how hard it is, we can do it, and they don’t have to do it alone. I am an example to show, I have been there, I understand. I now can walk with the assistance of just a cane and sometimes without depending on the level of pain and mobility. Every day brings a different feeling because of the nerve damage and the body trying to heal itself. Shortly before retirement I met Jewel. She has been my rock to stand on when the ground has been weak. She learned about how to become a caregiver and quickly assumed this role. She did not have a clue about the military when we met and learns new things every day. She brings a daughter and son into the relationship, which brings our kid count to 5. I love kids and would not have it any other way. We just lost our home to a house fire, but we are doing okay. We have been through worse in our lives. I would like to take my family on their first vacation. We already have plane tickets but do not have tickets for Disney World. We would like the park hopper so that we can come and go as we please. We need 7 total sets of tickets as I have 5 kids and a wife. |

Jun 7th 2014 My name is James Bolling. I have been a huge country music fan since I was little kid. George Strait has always been someone I could listen to his music and relate to him. While Deployed if I play his music it seems to lift the stress off my me. His music calms me and helps me relax after a long day. Listenng to it helps me able to sleep in deployed locations. I am currently deployed until Feb and George put out his final concert series. And having a final concert June 7th at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium in Texas. I have never been able to attend one of his shows due to conflicts with the military or family and this may be the last chance. |

May 28th 2014 First before anything else thank you for your time in reading this. My name is CW2 Larry Wesgaites and I will soon be returning from Afghanistan. As with all deployments this one has been long and I look forward to coming home to see my wife and family. My family and my wife's family are split between PA and FL and have never had the opportunity to spend time with one another. I would like to get everyone together down in FL and for a few days take the PA gang to Disney as they have never been there before. I am requesting 6 tickets if possible to help offset the high costs of getting everyone down there and taking them out. I thank you for your time and I hope you have a great day/night. |

May 5th 2014 Hello everyone, My name is Walter Vizcaino. I've served in the Marine Corps on active duty for almost 17 years. I'm stationed in Okinawa Japan executing a two (2) year unaccompanied tour. My family is still in California and I miss them very much. My beautiful wife is holding down the fort and is taking care of our 12 year old daughter "Gabriela" and three year old son "Elijah". The burden of taking care of the house and kids followed by the daily hour long trips for school and soccer has taken its toll on her. She's definitely due for a vacation and a relief. Furthermore, I'm a huge baseball fanatic especially when it involves my Yankees. Due to the multiple deployments, special duty assignment, operational tempo and location of duty stations I have not been able to see my Yankees play nor spend the much needed quality time with the family. With all that said, I would love to treat my wife, family and myself to several days in Anaheim while watching the Yankees beat up on the Angels. According to the MLB schedule they face each other May 5th, 6th and 7th, in Anaheim. Acquiring tickets for these games is always tough so I'm asking for this wish of four tickets to each of those games. I would surprise my wife with other comforting gifts during my stay. Igniting this wish was caused by missing and being so far apart from my family followed by MLB's greatest Captain Derek Jeter waving the retirement flag. All this created a sense of urgency to watch him play and visit my family. Any assistance you can provide would be heartwarming and greatly appreciated. Thanks for being there. |

I am currently getting ready to see my family for the first time in 10 months and would love to make this wish come true for us. We are grateful to those who serve our country as well as the generous people who donate to make these wishes come true. Thank you and God bless! |

Feb 28th 2014 My name is Andy Marquez. I was injured in Iraq therefore receive disability compensation. At this time My fiance stays at home to care for our three beautiful children ages 1, 5, and 9. Our only income is my disability compensation as well as my GI Bill compensation. My children's birthdays are in December, January, and March. I would really like a day dedicated to each one and would love to make it a reality for them. My wish would be for the Southern California City Pass for two adults and two children. My youngest wouldn't need one because he is an infant. It would mean a lot if I could provide a day of happiness for each of my children. Our income is only enough to pay our rent and bills so I do not see us being able to pay for something like this but would mean a lot if someone could do this for our family. Thank you in advance. |

Dec 28th 2013 My name is Technical Sergeant Sean A. Landolt. I will be returning from my 6 1/2 month deployment on the 10th of December. On the 13th my family and I will be flying to NY for 3 weeks. My wife and I were married about a month before and we never got to take a honeymoon. We are planning to spend a few nights in the city as a sort of mini-honeymoon. It just so happens that my mother's birthday is on Dec 28th: the same day as the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. My family are all die hard Yankees fans as well as Notre Dame fans and I just found out that Notre Dame would be playing in the game at Yankees stadium. This would be an amazing birthday gift to be able to give my mother and be an awesome end to a great trip to the city with my wife. My wish, if possible is for 8 tickets to the New Era Pinstripe Bowl game at Yankee Stadium. This would allow myslef, wife, our 2 children, my brother, his wife, their son (they are flying in from Hong Kong) and my mom, the birthday girl, to go to the game. I know 8 tickets is an awful lot to ask for. I would be greatful for whatever is possible. This is the chance of a life time for my family and with me being gone as long as I was, I would love to be able to surprise them all with this event. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my request. |

Dec 7th 2013 My name is Sgt. Joseph Albrecht. I have a daughter that will turn 6 in October 2013, she has grown into Classical and Opera music since she was a baby, just like I have. My goal is to take my daughter with me to hopefully watch Andrea Bocelli live in concert one of these days. I am separated from my daughter right now because I am stationed in 29 Palms, CA and my daughter is in Houston, TX. I think having a father and daughter time watching this concert will be a moment that will be remembered for a long time. |
