The Orchestra San Antonio
The classical performance last night at the Tobin with The Orchestra San Antonio was amazingly beyond our expectations. Our thanks to Frost Bank for their generosity of supporting the Orchestra and other donors. The performance was choreographed with a giant screen highlighting the members of the orchestra from above in sync with the specific musicians playing their important piece. Leonard Pineda, Principle Conductor & Artistic Creator had full control of all on stage. Then came an “electric” violin performance by Francisco Fullana who brought his violin and the entire audience to their feet. To put golden dust on the final performance, very young Jayden King (who appeared smaller than the violin bow he was using) played flawlessly and immediately received a thunderous standing ovation for many minutes. An evening I’ll never forget. The entire Orchestra S.A. deserves all the support it can get. Thank you
