This is the first time I got tickets and let my girlfriend (in the USAF Reserves) go, with her girlfriend-both bigger U2 fans. I thought about it, after getting these tickets ,and am just not into the big stadium venue anymore for shows, even games. Thought it was unfair that they suddenly raised the Parking Fee from $30 to $40 that morning.I prefer local parks and clubs to see bands (age thing).She sent me a text/photo, and I could see that they were very happy to be there. Thanks again VETTIX.

Thank you SO MUCH for the tickets to go see U2. I've been wanting to see them since the original album came out 30 years ago, and I was in the Navy. I grew up in Southern California and my first 8 years were near Palm Springs. We had a cabin in the high desert in Morongo Valley - near Joshua Tree National Monument. By 1987 when the "Joshua Tree" album came out, I had been in the Navy 7 years and my parents had moved to Yucca Valley - right next door to the National Monument. My wife at that time; my Father, and my mother have all passed away since then.... I remember the cool, wonderful and beautiful nights spent playing cards and talking, laughing with them. When I go back in my mind, it hurts and I do miss them.... So much. The night sky in the high desert is unparalleled anyplace I've been. Watching U2 and hearing those songs again took me back, especially "God's Country". It was painful, deep and real... but I think I can finally let them go. Thank you for helping me with my journey.
