Primetime with the Steelers

Attending the 'Primetime with the Steelers' event in October with my son would be an unforgettable experience. Because I work second shift, we do not get to spend as much time together as I would like. He is entering his senior year of football and plays both offensive and defensive line, so this would be a meaningful way to celebrate our shared love of the game. I have been a lifelong Steelers fan and have always admired their hard-nosed defense. My son and I especially enjoy watching T.J. Watt. After serving as a combat engineer in Iraq in 2003 and 2004, this opportunity would give us valuable time together and a memory we could carry for years. I'd love to give him an amazing day!

Thank you, VetTix, Theatre Artists Studio, Southwest Shakespeare Company, director and thespians, the MC, promoters, sponsors, coordinators, Will Call, A/V techs, snack bar servers, your tremendous staffs, and anyone I missed, for such a fantastic evening! It was my wife's and my, and our friend's, first visit to Theatre Artists Studio. It is quaint and has a neat snack and beverage bar. Tonight was Open Seating, so we had excellent seats about ten feet away, in row three, directly center of the stage. The Theatre Artists Studio website showcased the performance as follows: "MEASURE FOR MEASURE by William Shakespeare directed by Keath Hall Measure For Measure is one of Shakespeare’s “problem plays.” A problem play is not easily classified as a comedy, tragedy or history, having a mix of tone and moral ambiguity. Set in corrupt Vienna, Measure for Measure unfolds when the Duke leaves a strict deputy, Angelo, to enforce restrictive laws while the Duke disguises himself to observe the events as they unfold. A nobleman, Claudio, is sentenced to execution for engaging in premarital sex with his fiance. Claudio’s virtuous sister Isabella, who is studying to become a nun, must then bargain with Angelo. Angelo demands her virginity for her brother's life, but the disguised Duke orchestrates a complex plan involving mistaken identity and trickery to expose Angelo's hypocrisy, ultimately testing mercy, justice, and balance in the community. Along the way we are introduced to a slew of funny and irascible characters sure to elicit sidesplitting fun." Wow! What solid performances! The troupe members assumed various rolls, and they all were excellent! In fact, they were some of the best actors I have ever seen, particularly since they were playing Shakespeare, which is no easy task. I was so thoroughly impressed with everyone. It was also quite ingenious how, given the stage was not very large, graphics were projected onto both sides to add to the scenery without having to change sets continously. Brilliant! This is a must-see production! Again, thank you, VetTix, Theatre Artists Studio, Southwest Shakespeare Company, director and thespians, the MC, promoters, sponsors, coordinators, Will Call, A/V techs, snack bar servers, your outstanding teams, and anyone I left out, for such an awesome presentation!
