Ski trip to Wintergreen

My name is Master Sergeant Jason P. Foster. I am Trombone Craftsman, 3N171J, United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. Section leader for the Concert Band and is the bass trombonist in the 16-member Rhythm in Blue Jazz Ensemble. Unit’s Drum Major – leading a 35-member ceremonial group. Duties take me to jazz festivals, community relations concerts, recruiting events and numerous military ceremonies. I am the unit’s Section Chief of Resources overseeing resources and a budget. Served as Executive Non commissioned Officer, Supply Chief, Lead Client Support Administrator, Unit Deployment Manager, Organizational Defense Travel Administrator, Agency Program Coordinator, Auditions Coordinator, Functional Area Records Manager, Physical Training Leader and Chief of Records. My wish is a ski trip to Wintergreen for my family. I'll be returning from a 6 month deployment with the Air Force and a trip to reunite with my family would be an incredible lifetime experience for us. I would like to ask for lift tickets for the family. We live relatively close so we would not need transportation.

Disney World for 4

My name is TSgt Ryan Marra. I am in the Air Force, Security Forces career field and currently deployed to the Middle East. I have been in the Air Force for over 18 years out of New Jersey. I met and married my wife of 15 years while I was stationed at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. Since then we have 2 awesome, resilient children that have been all over the world. Now that I’m currently deployed, I want to give back to my family after all these moves that I’ve put them through after volunteering for so many different things while in the Air Force. With this possibly my last deployment, I need some help setting up a trip to Disney in Florida for them. Once I return I want to take them to Disney World in Orlando. I thank you for your consideration and help.

Disney World Park Hopper passes for family of 6

My name is SFC William Moore. I have been in the US Army Reserves for 10 years and currently serving my 2nd deployment in Iraq. My wife is home with our four awesome kids, Grace 14, Danielle 7, Liam 5 and David 3. This had been our toughest deployment- I have missed many holidays, family events and family emergencies. When I return home I would love to take my family for some much needed fun and magic at Disney World FL. We are humbled and thankful to be considered for this wish fulfillment. Thank you VETTIX for all you do!

Learn to oil paint for PTSD therapy at retreat.

My name is GMG3 Glenn Cernosek. I am a 100% disabled Navy veteran. I served in Vietnam on river patrol boats (PBR's). I was wounded and have PTSD. The Veterans Administration has published documents that prove that art activities, such as painting, can help someone with PTSD cope with those difficulties.

I would like to attend a workshop to learn to oil paint in the outdoors, and learn to sell my paintings to supplement my income.
The Plein Air Convention & Expo will be held next year in Denver Colorado, May 2-6, 2020.
There are over 80 top master artists that will be teaching at this event. There are also sessions about how to market my paintings. The event is fully explained at www.PleinAirConvention.com

Disney World Family Vacation

Hello. My father, Capt. Carl E. Jackson, is MIA from Vietnam as of June 27, 1965. We never got a body back - only a few personal belongings. We were told several different stories about what might have happened to him and will never truth from fiction. Initially, we were told he was KIA. We later found out that there was an attempt to rescue him from a POW camp in October, 1966.
Dad was a Captain at the time of his Vietnam incident. I am not sure how many deployments he was sent on as I was only 10 when the incident occurred. I do know that he was away from home a lot. My father was away much of my life and aside from the trips to visit grandparents, there was only one vacation that we went on. That is one of the dearest memories that I have of him.

I would like to take my husband, children (daughter, son-in-law, and son), and my grandchildren (girl, boy, and one on the way) to Disney World so that we all can have our own memories. I thank you for your consideration.

A dream come true family vacation is the exact way I would describe our trip. Thank you Vet Tix and the Hero's Wish coordinators for all the work that goes into this amazing program and opportunity. As a service member who will hit 20 years of service this August I have nothing but gratitude for what the military has done for myself and the life my family and I are afforded. The time away from the family is truly the only hard part of serving and it was incredible to be gifted these lifelong memories. My kids, five and seven years old, had the time of their lives. Above all else, they were most excited to be at Disney World as a family. The memories will surely last a lifetime. My son and I have spent hours sword fighting (souvenirs he chose), my daughter and I made secret hand shakes while waiting for rides and my wife (who as a military spouse, the hardest job of all) was able to take off a few of her hats, unwind and relax while just being a mother. We enjoyed our time together so much and are forever grateful to have been given this experience. A special thank you to Madeline and Raymond, our angel donors, whose selflessly generous donations will never be forgotten. On behalf of my family, thank you!

I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Vet Tix and their donors for gifting my family and I five days at Disneyland. Because of your generosity, I was able to reconnect with my family after an 8 month deployment at the “happiest place on earth.” To see the smiles and enjoyment on my children’s faces as we spent time together riding rides and experiencing the magic of Disney will never be forgotten. Thank you!

I cannot thank Vet Tix and the many donors enough for the wonderful Disney World 5-Day Park Hopper Passes! There were so many delightful memories made in the most magical place on earth thanks to the generous donations from the donors. Some of these include seeing my son Jack visibly shake with excitement when he first saw Mickey Mouse stop by our table at dinner. Or hearing my daughters Evie and Lily laugh with delight while riding the Seven Dwarfs Mine train roller coaster. Or meeting the real Disney princesses while traveling around EPCOTs World Showcase. Or all 5 of us walking from one ride to another singing the Tiki Room song. And even just all of us enjoying an ice cream while watching the fireworks at the end of the day… I wish I could add more pictures to show how much fun my family and I had together. Thank you for making my wish come true.

Thank you very much for the donations to make this possible. Though my wife was ill this day, I was able to take my father with me. It was a great day, game and memory that I will never forget.

Thank you to all those who came together to provide this amazing, generous gift to my family. We had a wonderful four days at Disney World. We got to defeat the Evil Zurg, fight Darth Vader after training with a Jedi master, dance with Belle (my wife Jenn is my Belle) and ride on a lot of fun rides. I loved taking my older kids on the big roller coasters and seeing their faces of fear and excitement all at once. It was a lot of work taking five kids on vacation, but we will look back on this with fond memories. I have had to be away from my family a significant amount of time the last few years and there have been many challenges. I have missed countless milestones, holidays and birthdays. My wife has given birth to our last two children without me. This trip was a fabulous way for us to celebrate daddy finally being home.
