As a former Air Force LEO and weapons specialist, large crowds are extremely difficult for me to navigate due to PTSD. With help from VETTIX, I can find an event that both my wife and I will enjoy while she helps me navigate through my trauma and teaching me how to better deal with crowds. With the help of VETTIX, I try and venture out for more often.

I’d like to sincerely thank Sloan Park - Spring Training for donating our tickets to yesterday’s cubs game. As a Vietnam combat Veteran it makes me so happy to accept your generosity towards us Veterans. There are so many young Vets now who are dealing with PTSD and other serious wounds from multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our country asked so much of these young volunteers. They need all of our support. Thanks again!

My friend and I had a BLAST, this was my first concert in years as I've been going through mental health battles and haven't left the house. I just finished treatment for PTSD and it was a great celebration.

Thank you so much for sending my girls and I to the basketball game. Often PTSD and such takes over life and I don’t get to be FUN. It was nice to let go for the evening and spend it with my 2 that went through all of my deployments with me doing something we love! You have no idea how much fun this game was with them! Thank You, Pels! We are ALWAYS rooting for our home team!

Thank you to the Shinding Show and Vet Tix, the show was amazing! Seeing Billy Gardell was such a nice surprise! I love him! He’s such a great comedian! It also made me feel much better about my weight loss journey. It means a lot to know that even people who are famous, understand the importance of being healthy, and the struggles. I have been battling depression and PTSD, this was such a good night. Thank you!

The Galen center was wonderful, this disabled veteran was so happy to attend such a wonderful event. The staff was wonderful. I’d like to say mary or Alexandra help me in the beginning because I get lost when I get in places. But they also accommodated me with disability seating because of my PTSD thank you very much and also university of Southern California Trojans go Trojans thank you I now knew have a new basketball tuning team to root for other than University of Oklahoma my alma mater.

This is the first concert I went to by myself, so now I’ve done the first and second hockey game, one hockey game by myself and then the concert by myself and this really is assisting me helping me with my PTSD. It was so bad I couldn’t even go to a concert with someone, thank you so much again. You’re actually part of my recovery process.

Thanks Rite of Passage for the best equine therapy ever. I learned so much at this event. Comparing the horse's feelings and reactions to that of my own is a different concept. I met some wonderful people and made some great connections. It was definitely worth stepping outside my comfort zone to attend.

Thank you, Vet Tix, Rite of Passage Therapy Center, Kaleigh, Teresa, Rob, Matthew, Brandon, Karl, Mike, and anyone I missed, for such an amazing event!

The drive in Scottsdale was majestic, as the ranch is backdropped with gorgeous snowcapped mountain ranges. It was certainly eye candy! As if that weren't enough, we were treated to delicious donuts, coffee, sandwiches, chips, cookies, soda, etc., which was totally unexpected.

I had seen past notices, through Vet Tix, regarding Rite of Passage, but I was never able to go. After what I experienced today, I wish I had. What a fantastic set of programs being conducted by tremendously talented, God-anointed people with big hearts! They genuinely desire to be used of God to promote the healing and well-being of broken people and horses.

This is what their website says:

"Behaviorist & Therapist meet to discuss anxiety/trauma/grief for both horses & people! This unique invitation is for people & loved ones that experienced loss & trauma. Our programs are to better understand a unique perspective in healing, using horses that experience the same anxieties."

What a concept!

Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Rite of Passage Therapy Center, Kaleigh, Teresa, Rob, Matthew, Brandon, Karl, Mike, and your incredible team, for such a memorable affair!

We, veterans, active military, first responders, family and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, the community, and our country! Kudos to you!
