Texans, Thank You! I moved to Houston from Virginia, where I did not had a favorite football team for decades. I admit, I was partial to the ‘85 Bears back when I lived in Chicago, and was in boot camp. But Virginia is not the best place to be to have a favorite team. The game was fun! Many more interceptions than normal, and the Texan’s first points were…interesting. The Texans were openly derided this preseason, but they had a chance! They held the line, and did not experience the fabled 97 - 7 loss some were prognosticating. (I saw that once, in high school back in 1981). Traffic arriving was much worse than expected, and the food was as fun as expected. (An official ’cheat day’ for those on any food regimen). Of course, we stayed until the bitter end, ignoring those who left while there was still a chance. We enjoyed, and we are hoping to see more Texans and NRG in the future!
Thanks so much for your sponsorship of military personnel. My son and I enjoyed the game and the hospitality of the stadium staff. Houston is a great town with wonderful people. Your generosity also helped lift our spirits in a time that has been difficult for many.
I want to send a huge heartfelt thank you to the NFL's Houston Texans on giving me, my son and my nephews an opportunity to attend the pre-season football game last Saturday. The boys were very enthused to see a game in person, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Please continue the great work that you do and also continue to support the troops!
Awesome event I finally got a chance to spend some time with my siblings. Our mother would’ve been so proud of us. Thank you for your generosity and big heart, I’m proud to know that all of my military/veterans have supporters such as you and many other great patriots. GOD bless!
