A very special thank you to MN Twins - MLB for a great seat at yesterday’s game! This a great chance to cheer for my team and maintain a sense of membership in my community. Donating tickets, through VetTix, is still the greatest way I’ve seen to acknowledge and express gratitude for the service of vets like me. With much gratitude…
I want to Thank Minnesota Twins-MLB For the tickets tó the Twins/Astros game yesterday. It was a beautiful day to go to the ball park. I got to watch the game with my three nephews. I was very happy to spend the time with them.
Thank you MLB Minnesota Twins for tickets to this game! It certainly didn’t go the Twins’ way, but I was able to bring a former co-worker who retired, along with his brother. Haven’t seen them in years.
Thank you SO much for the tickets. I was able to bring my husband, my 4yo daughter, and my 2yo son and it was such an incredible family experience. It was a fabulous sunny, summer day and my kiddos were in AWE being at Target field and seeing the players on the field (vs. on the TV screen :) My daughters favorite part was seeing TC bear (and clapping whenever the rest of the fans clapped), and my son's favorite was playing with the soft baseball souvenir we bought for him. He is such a fan of all sports balls!
Thanks for the awesome seats! The weather was great for some Twins baseball and my wife and I are very appreciative. Our seats where next to another Vet that we did not know until this game. Great conversation and learned the soldier has PTSD, this was his first event. We talked about families and how important events like baseball bring out Vets for a time of peace and good old fashion American pastime event! We thank them for their service, and I say them as well as reminding the wife that she served as well. My son made a very adult comment when he was 16, stating to my wife. "Mom, we have served too". To often the thought is focused on the individual that deployed and not the family. These tickets that are donated are valuable on so many levels and I want to thank you for the event, the conversation with the Vet and his family sitting next to us, and the bonding that occurs with my wife and son. Thank you and God bless you for your generosity.
