Last week, you gave me the opportunity to take my son, Christopher, and grandson, Matthew, to the diamondback game. Just prior to the game, my grandson was watching the players warm up when he noticed his hero, their first baseman, standing on the field. Matthew waved at Mr. Goldschnidt and, much to his delight, Goldy walked over to him and started chatting. one picture and a few minutes later, my grandson was in seventh heaven! Thank you for making his day and mine.

This was a really good game...and a really big crowd for some reason...maybe it was VetTix!!? D'Backs; gotta love your generosity and appreciate seeing you games very much, but please, don't open the roof when it was as hot as it was on Saturday!! It was only for an hour or so and the night became very pleasant, but the right field upper deck is tough at 1840hrs in the summer. As it turns out by the time the game ended all was forgotten, and well worth it!!
