Disney World vacation

Jun 23rd 2016

My name is SSG Smilowska, I have been on active duty for 18 years and served multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Since than I have returned home and married my wife and had four beautiful children Charlotte (5), Savanna (4), Jameson (2), and Abigail (1). I have been married to my wife for six years and she is the glue that keeps this family together. I went through the medical evaluation process and was determined that I could remain in service with limited capabilities. I am hoping to retire at 23 years and spend as much time with the family as possible. I have never been to Disney World and neither has my wife. I would love to take my kids and my wife together so we can all experience it together for the first time and see the priceless looks on the kids faces when they meet Aerial or Elsa. Thank You Vet Tickets for trying to make this wish come true. Even if we do not get this wish We truly enjoy the site and will continue to support for a long time to come.

Having a great time at Disney, Kids love it and already have said they do not want to leave. So much to do and so little time it feels like we will never get to do everything and will most certainly have to come back. Thank you Vet Tickets and My Hero's Wish Disney World Vacation and all the Donors who made this trip possible. I never seen kids with bigger smiles than they have right now. This is truly a magical place. I don't know who is having more fun though me or the kids. Still have two more days left and lots to do.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Jun 15th 2016

My name is SGT Francisco Cisneros and have honorable served active duty in the United States Army for 7 years. I am married to the most amazing woman in my life and have two amazing sons (2 & 4yrs). I am currently deployed in East Africa and was previously stationed in Germany the previous 18 months. Throughout the entire time abroad, I have been away from my wife and kids. My 4 year old son suffers from severe asthma, food allergies and eczema. Due to the winters in Germany (which is what severely triggers his asthma and eczema) and the care he was receiving back home, we elected to not to risk his health and keep my family in the states. With me being away, my wife had nobody to share the responsibility of raising two boys by herself, especially one as fragile as my 4 year old. Multiple emergency room visits, being flown to other hospitals and constant late night cares have really taken a toll on her. She does so much and has sacrificed her health for our kids, and I can't do anything but wish I could be there to take the responsibility from her. This wish is not so much for a service member, but for a military spouse since they endure they're own hardships as us deployed. My wish would be to take my entire family to Six Flags once I get back to the states. My wife has always been a huge fan of such and my kids have yet to see an amusement Park. My younger son has always been a very healthy, and my four year old is doing A LOT better now! I truly do appreciate the chance to do something extremely special for my wife and boys, and thank my wife for the mother she is. Thank you for the support.

Walt Disney World

May 10th 2016

I am an Iraq and Afghanistan veteran. I was injured during my last deployment while clearing a Taliban training camp. My wife and 3 kids have been through a lot with their dad being deployed and watching me struggle with a traumatic brain injury and PTSD. When I got home, I tried to move on with my life but couldn't. I quit my job as a paramedic at Vanderbilt University in the Emergency Room, lost my Paramedic License because I was unable to remember drug dosages and other critical things in medicine. I ended up in inpatient at the VA. There I admitted for the first time I needed help in 2013. It was the worst day of my life, but also the best as I began to get help. Now I would be able to go with my family to Disney World as before PTSD kept me from being around people and was ruining my life. I would love to give back to my family for what they have given me in allowing me to serve my country as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army. I desire to bless my family as they have supported me through this tough time. Disney World in Orlando Florida for the 5 of us for 4 days is my wish. For Jaden 13, Natesa 12, and Kole 11, along with my wife and I to hang out together in Disney World would be a dream for all of us.

Birthday Celebration at Disney World

Apr 30th 2016

My name is Msgt Johnathon Johnson and this year I deployed two weeks before my oldest son turned 15 and returned after my youngest turned 8. I would like to take them to Walt Disney World to Celebrate with a park hopper. For most of my career I have been away for my wife's birthday however this year I was home for hers and missed our sons. I would like to make up the time missed by celebrating at Walt Disney World. They have been troopers, enduring two deployments during an 18 month period plus the typical stateside TDY's. I love my family and cherish the time I get to spend with them. I can't think of a better way to celebrate not only my return but also the moments we missed during my deployment. My son turns 16 in April and this would be a great way to celebrate!

Disneyland for my Princesses

Apr 24th 2016

My name is Sgt. Justin Bond. I was born in Kings County rejoined the US Army after our homeland was attacked on September 11, 2001. After being shot through the center of both knees in the battle of Fallujah Iraq and losing my left leg above the knee I spent most of my 6 and 8 year old girls lives in the hospital and going through surgeries. This last year was the worst as I ended up with stomach and colon cancer from the burn pits in Iraq and had to go through chemo and more surgeries. I have wanted to take my Disney fans, my girls to Disneyland for several years but couldn't. Now they are a perfect age and I am surgery free for the rest of this year other than 1 small one... I checked on tickets and realized that the tickets alone are very expensive. I am unable to come up with the funds for this to be able to spoil my family and take a trip and can't see how I will ever be able to afford that while my girls are in school on a disability income and continuing my medical issues so I was told about this site from Disneyland and decided to give it a try... Thank You

31st Anniversary at Disney World

Apr 13th 2016

I am Richard Brier, A First Class Petty Officer in the USN Seabees. I am currently assigned as part of a Joint Task Force in Africa. My Military career has resulted in missing a lot of important days and events over the years. My Bride of 31 years has been great at dealing with this. What I would like to do is for us to be able to Celebrate our 31st Anniversary at Disney World in Orlando Fl. I have arrange R&R during this time frame. As like most of my deployments this one is going to be another long one. Looks like 18 plus months. I would like to make this time in our lives very special. We want to create new memories together at one of the most happiest palaces in the world. As our children are all grown we are going to create our own memories starting on this date. This would be so great for my Bride to be able to start our next 30 plus years together in this Magical World.

Sorry it took so long to say thanks. After i returned I was sent back out were I had no access to my internet accounts. So here goes. I want to thank all those who donated to my wish. My Bride and I had a great time making new memories for our 31st anniversary. We spent four wonderful days park hopping. There was even one day that Kim wanted to go to Animal Kingdom. On the day that we did this I commented to her that I traveled 12K miles just to come back to Africa at Disney. On our Anniversary night we were at Epcot were we stayed to see the wonderful fireworks that they have there. On our way out the Magic Kingdom started there fireworks and we were able to see most of that as well from Epcot. As all the pics that we took I left at home I am unable at this time to provide a pic. However at a future date I will do this. Again I want to thank VetTix and all who helped make our 31st Anniversary one that we will remember for a life time.

Wrestling Tickets Wrestlemania 32

Apr 3rd 2016

Greetings, My name is Melvin. I am a Purple Heart wounded veteran. I've been on numerous deployments and of course any veteran that can relate will tell you it can take a toll on you physically and mentally. PTSD and depression should never be taken lightly. I'm a huge WWE fan. My only wish is to attend WWE WrestleMania 32 in Dallas and/or WWE Monday Night raw in San Antonio. I've never personally attended an event such as this. My son would always ask me if he can ever go and experience what that's like but I can't afford that opportunity whenever they're in town. It's never nice to see the frowns on his face every time WWE is within the vicinity. It would mean the world to me to see his facial expression to have him attend a live event such as this. I know things like this happen only once in a lifetime but the memories will always be priceless. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this letter. Thank you and God Bless.

Disney World Visit for Family

Apr 3rd 2016

My name is Capt. Robert Anderson. We will be traveling to Florida this year for spring break to see our family, and would like to take our children to the Magic Kingdom to meet some of their favorite characters. In particular, we would like to have our son with Autism, Ross, meet his favorite character from Toy Story, Mr. Potatohead. I have been in the military for 13 years and owe a great deal of my success to my wife and children. Unfortunately, with five children, affording a day visit to the park is just not feasible at this point. My children (11, 7, 6, 4, and 3) have faced significant hardship as Army children, and I would like to reward them with a surprise day at the Magic Kingdom. 7 tickets to the Magic Kingdom is just not feasible for our family right now.I would like to surprise them with a visit to the Magic Kingdom to honor them for all they have done for me.

DISNEY LAND VACATION FOR MY FAMILY

Feb 28th 2016

I have a family of 7 so at times it is hard for me to afford to take my family to do fun things like this so I'm hoping this will allow me to do that for them. I 'am requesting 6 three day hopper tickets to Disneyland in Anaheim Ca. 6 three day hopper tickets to Disneyland in Anaheim Ca for me, my wife, and five kids. Didn't ask for the last because my youngest is 1. Me and my wife have been married for 2 years now but we have been together for 5 years I have completed 2 deployments since being together both for a total of about 12 months first to Afghanistan then to Japan. My wife has been a trooper taking care of 5 kids while I have been away and I KNOW that I couldn't do it and all of this was less than a year after having my son and having very major complications and doing so, so much so that she almost died. Thank you!

Hi my name is SPC. Omar Herrera. I am huge fan of the Lakers yet never been to their games. As Kobe plays his last games, I would enjoy going to one of his games before he retires. I love the infantry. Never for a second doubt what I've done. Since I have left the military after being wounded I never found that fulfilling feeling. After being married to my wife, she changed my world. I would love to take my wife and to this event.

Dream Vacation to Disney World Orlando Florida

Jan 27th 2016

Hi, My family and I would love to have our dream vacation come true to Disney World Orlando Florida. I am currently deployed to Kuwait and this is my second deployment is a year and a half. I am suppose to be home in January which is right after the holidays. To me this would be a perfect late Christmas present to my wife and daughter. My daughter is 8 years old and I think that she is old enough to understand family time and how important it is, and the memories we can make at Disney World would be amazing and forever something she will remember. I know my whole family would be forever appreciative if this dream can come true. My wife's Birthday is on January 9TH so this could also be a birthday surprise for her as well. We would love a 4 day pass so we can see the whole park for all 3 of us. Thank You

Disneyland Getaway

Jan 26th 2016

I am SSgt Robert Bond and have served in the Air Force for over 11 years. I have been married to my beautiful wife for almost 10 years now and we have 2 beautiful children. This deployment I am missing a birthday, and the Holidays during this time away. As my return home approaches and my 10 year wedding anniversary peaks its head around the corner I've been trying to find a way to do something really special for my family when I return home. I have known of Vet Tix for a while now but recently learned of the Hero's Wish program and thought, hey it never hurts to ask right! So I would LOVE for 3 Disneyland in Anaheim CA 3-Day Park Hopper Tickets for myself, my wife and my soon to be 4 year old, my son is just turning 2 so he will not need a ticket. This deployment came a few months after a PCS so it would be really welcomed to take a family vacation to reconnect after this hectic time away from one another. Thank you to the wonderful supporters of Vet Tix and to the awesome folks who created and continue to operate this wonderful non-profit organization for the opportunity.

Carolina Panther Playoff game

Jan 17th 2016

Hello I am SGT Darren Bertram, I ama die hard Carolina Panthers fan since 2003 the year they went to the Super Bowl. I was born and raised in NC and I would love to go see the Carolina Panthers play in a home playoff game. I do not know if it will be wildcard weekend or divisional round weekend, but either would be great. I been to a regular season game a few time, but a playoff game would be a once in a lifetime event, and the best Christmas present I could ever receive. I would love to attend, but I can not afford it on my own. I lost my best friend during my first deployment to a IED, and I use football as a copping device as he loved football too. I even stay up past midnight during my deployments to watch football as I were 8 hours ahead. With me being gone all the time due to deployments and training this event would be a time that my wife and I can spend together and would value the rest of our lives. Thank you so much for reading. Thank you for your time and consideration.

New England Patriots v. Kansas City Chiefs Playoff game

Jan 16th 2016

My name is SGT Justin Zelenak. My wish is to go to the 2016 New England Patriots playoff game with my amazing wife. It would be my first time at a game with my wife. I love what I do for my country. I joined in 2007 to serve and protect my future friends and family. I went to BCT in Fort Jackson, NC, then to Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland to complete my AIT. My first duty station was Baumholder, Germany. I was then shipped to Iraq for 1 year and 3 months. They made me a part of a PSD team transporting high ranking officials, detainees, and also working with Civil Affairs. I was part of a great mission helping Iraqi nationals build schools, water facilities, waste systems, and even played sports with the kids. Half way thru my deployment I received a Red-Cross message stating that my mother is dying with stage-4 cancer spreading thru out her body. I was immediately sent home. On my way to the hospital my mother passed away. They sent me back to Iraq after 7 days of emergency leave. Three quarters of the way thru the deployment I received another Red-Cross message stating my Father passed away. The time I was deployed I went thru 2 funerals and lost 3 friends. 2008-2009. In 2010 I got out and decided to go to college for Criminal Justice. I met my wife in college. We got married in 2012 and now have 2 children that are amazing. My wife has been with me thru thick and thin. I am back on Active duty to support my family so my wife can be home with the children. My biggest wish is to take my wife to the Patriots playoff game.

Disneyland Vacation

Jan 7th 2016

My name is SFC Paul Johnson (Ret), the dream I have is to take my fiance, Sandra and our son to Disneyland. After all she has done for me this is the one thing I want to do to show her my appreciation for what she has done. In 2003, while serving in Iraq I was wounded. I was treated at the field hospital and returned to my unit. The blast fractured bones in my lower back. Upon my return to the states I asked for help to deal with a wide range of injuries and help with my PTSD. While in the Wounded Warrior Program I met my fiance Sandra. She helped save my life in many different ways. At the time I was dealing with a heavy drinking problem and misusing my prescription pills. In 2013, I was medically discharged from the Army for PTSD, TBI, neck and back injuries and ankle and shoulder injuries. In January of 2014 I had surgery on my right shoulder and there was a complication with the surgery and I almost died on the table. They had to revive me and when I came to all I wanted was Sandra and our son. In March of 2014 they finished the operation. In December I was fully disabled at 100% by the VA and my PTSD was rated at over 70%. All I have ever wanted to do is show Sandra how much I am thankful to have her in my life. She has had to endure my ups and downs and two near death experiences in 2014. She has had to help me over come my drinking problem and find ways to deal with my anger and so many other things. With out her I would not be where I am today. She has become my angel in so many ways. It would mean the world for us to go to Disneyland as a family and help bring light to so much darkness.

San Francisco 49ers Game

Jan 3rd 2016

My name is SSG. Casey McEuin. Prior to deploying to Afghanistan in 2011 I made a promise to my 3 kids that when I returned home that I was going to take them to San Francisco to a 49ers game when the new stadium opened. Unfortunately, I was injured late in 2011 and received numerous surgeries and subsequently was medically retired from the Army. I get asked constantly when we will go to the game, but with not having the means to afford to take them to the game, I put my faith and goodwill into Vettix.org to assist me in fulfilling the promise I made my children. Disney World

Jan 3rd 2016

I recently returned from another deployment and would like the opportunity to take my beautiful wife and two kids on a family vacation to Disney World. I would like to take my family of 4 on the 4-day Park Hopper that way we can enjoy all that Disney World has to offer. Disney World is somewhere my daughter Evelyn (6) and son Jacob (4) have always wanted to go, but with work and deployments we've never been able to plan and execute the trip in the past 6 years that I have been in. As I prepare for my post-deployment leave, I hope that I can make my kids dreams come true by taking them to Disney World to have an incredible family vacation that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the smiles on my kids faces as they are having fun, so I can only imagine how great of a feeling it would be at Disney World.

Honeymoon Ski Lift Tickets

Dec 27th 2015

My name is T.J., I serve in the US Air Force. My wife, Sarah, and I got married just over two years ago in the middle of my AF training. As such, we were unable to take a honeymoon at the time and have not had the opportunity since due to non-stop training and a deployment. My wish is for ski lift tickets for two days in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I am finally back from my deployment and have the time off to be able to take Sarah on our dream mountain honeymoon. We are stationed overseas, but we are making the long journey stateside to spend the holidays with family in Colorado. Our plan is to take a few days for ourselves to spend in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. This will be our first time ever skiing together, so it will definitely be a lifelong memory.

Thank you to Vet Tix and the generous donors (Angie and Andrew) who helped make our wish come true. My wife and I were able to spend two beautiful, sunny days skiing in Colorado's amazing Rocky Mountains. We had a wonderful time and made memories that will last the rest of our lives. Thank you very much!

First Chicago Blackhawks Game

Dec 11th 2015

My name is Nick Buchhaas. I am a retired Marine CPL. With putting my wife and children first I would never be able to attend a Blackhawks game. I am asking for this wish to take my wife and children to have this experience together as a family. I would like to thank anyone who visits this page and even more to those who donate so my wish can be fulfilled.
