What is a Hero's Wish?

Wish: SKI LIFT TICKET
All, Thank you for granting my wish this year. It has been a hard year with combat deployments and other personnel things in my life. This day is a day that I will never forget. Again thank you. Respectfully MSGT Sagredo Ismael

Hero's Wish Veteran Tickets Foundation is proud to bring the Hero's Wish program to our members!

Deployed, wounded and families of those killed in action are shouldering the hardest burdens of military service. Their duty has impacted their lives in ways the rest of America can only imagine. To relieve their burden of stress VetTix would like to give a once in a lifetime event to these Heroes. Hero's Wish events create wonderful experiences that they can always remember to heal their spirit and bring them together as a family. For those who have suffered, we want to welcome them back and bring enjoyment back into their lives.

Hero's Wish allows members who meet certain criteria to request specific tickets for any single event (NOTE: We are not capable of fulfilling meet and greets, trips, cruises, hotel stays or flights), and have donors fulfill that request either by ticket donation or by donating money to make the hero's wish come true.

The Hero's Wish program can be used by Active Duty Military Personnel (six months prior to, while on leave from or six months after their deployments), severely wounded Veterans (Purple Heart Required) and the families of men and woman killed in action (KIA).

After submitting a Hero's Wish, Vet Tix will work with the veteran to verify the Hero's Wish requirements are met. If all criteria are met, a member of the Hero's Wish will be assigned to facilitate wish fulfillment. Veteran Tickets Foundation does not discriminate based on race, religion, sex or social status.

The Vet Tix Hero's Wish team and other volunteers explore possible ways to make the Hero's Wish come true for our veteran. Most Hero's Wishes are funded on a case by case basis with funds donated through the website and by the Hero's Wish team working hard with our donors and venues to make the Hero's Wish a reality.

Help Fulfill a Hero's Wish

Want to help Veteran Tickets Foundation fulfill the wish of one of America's heroes? There are two ways you can help us honor these special members:

  • Make a ticket donation. Simply visit the Hero's Wish page and select a wish that you'd like to help Vet Tix fulfill.
  • Don't have tickets to donate? No problem! You can always support a hero by making a monetary donation toward the wish you select and Vet Tix will purchase the tickets.

New wishes are being submitted all the time, so we encourage you to view the hero's wish page as often as you can.

Wish: DISNEYLAND DREAM!
Thanks to everyone that made our Disneyland Dream a reality! We really appreciate what you do for our military families! Thank you for all your support!

Submit A Hero's Wish

Are you Currently Serving Military (six months prior to combat deployment, six months after a deployment, or while on leave from deployment), a severely wounded Veteran (Purple Heart Required) or a family member of someone who was killed in action (KIA)?

If you are and you have not received a wish from another wish-granting organization, then you are eligible for our Hero's Wish Program! All you need to do is complete a few easy steps and Veteran Tickets Foundation will get started on making your Hero's Wish come true!

NOTE: Veteran is allowed to submit 1 (ONE) lifetime wish. If wish goes unfilled, that still counts as your one lifetime wish.

First Family Vacation to Disney World
My name is AT3 Galloway and I just left for my second deployment with the USS Harry S Truman. I am leaving behind 3 wonderful kids aged 5, 2 1/2, and one month old. I am also leaving behind a wonderful wife, who is also an army veteran that has deployed twice to Iraq. When I return home this deployment I hope to be able to do something special for the family. Due to training, underway, and deployments, in the last 4 years I have been away from home more than I have been there. I would love for the family to be able to reconnect after this deployment. I also hope to bond with my youngest who will not know me on return. I hope to take the family to Disney world for 4-5 days at the end of summer. It is also around my wife's birthday, and she is truly the glue that hold the family together. Thank you for any help.

Disney World Vacation
My name is Donna Cutchall. My sons and I lost the greatest man in our lives 12 years ago in Iraq. My sons were 4 and 6 years old when it happened. All of us had talked about making plans to go to Disney World when he got back home, but that never happened. My sons now are 16 and 18 and still to this day want to go. My wish is to take my boys to Disney World. We are unable to go because of my current income. I just lost my sons social security money and lost my job. Out of all the wishes we could request, this one would help us feel more complete. Doing what we would have done if SSGT Christopher Cutchall were still alive.

Disneyland 3 - Day Park Hopper Tickets
My name is SSgt Scott Heninger. I am currently serving in the USAF and on my fourth deployment in 12 years. While this is my first 365 day deployment, the family back home has to endure all of the life challenges without me. I have two wonderful women in my life, my wife of 8 years, and our daughter who is 6. We may have one of the hardest jobs, having to leave our family behind while we are all serving our country. But that is nothing compared to what our family's have to bare while we are away. My wife is the most amazing person I know working full time as a church secretary, she still has time to take care of our daughter, two dogs and the cat. This is no easy feat due to my wife being a paraplegic, paralyzed from her chest down, all because of a drunk driver. I am planning on coming home for my mid tour sometime in Nov. My wish is to surprise my family with something we have talked about for years, but just haven't had the funds to do. 3 Disneyland 3-Day Park Hopper Tickets would not only be a dream for my wife but for my daughter as well, she is always talking about all the princes and how she would love to meet one. But the most important thing for me would be the quality time you can spend with loved ones creating those lasting memories you will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for considering my wish and to all who support these and other organizations that try and give back to all the brave men and women that serve this great country.

Green Bay Packer Game Lambeau Field
My name is Staff Sergeant Joshua M. Krueger. On February 28, 2005, my detail was struck by an improvised explosive device (IED). I was severely wounded in the blast and in critical condition. I was medically evacuated to Ballad, Iraq. I was then transferred to Landstuhl, Germany, and ultimately to the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. I suffered loss of vision to my left eye and sustained severe blast damage to my left arm. After numerous surgeries and rehabilitation, I was medically retired from the Marine Corps on November 26, 2006. I ended up having the injured eye removed in 2014. My wish is to take my twin daughters to their first Packers game for their birthday on December 4th. I am a huge Packers fan and would love to attend the game on December 4th where the Packers play the Houston Texans.

Disneyland Wish
My name is Capt. Ramon Leonguerrero. I want to take my family on a once in a lifetime vacation to Disneyland. I have missed so many birthdays and anniversaries for all 5 of our kids and this would be a great way to celebrate them all. I have only seen one of my children on their first birthday. With 5 kids it is so hard to have a family vacation. We would only need a total of 5 tickets for me, my wife, our daughter Mandi 22 in college, Emily 16, Natalie 4. We probably don't need tickets for the 2 smallest ones Rita 2 and Ramon Jr 1. Thank you for the consideration.
