Baseball – University of the Pacific vs San Jose St. “Salute to the Troops”

The Tigers would like to thank everyone that came out to support them last week against USC…on Sunday they had 1,200 Tigers fans out to cheer them on!

Once again the Tigers will recognize all veterans and active duty military personnel during their home game this Sunday. Veteran groups and their families will receive FREE entry, recognition on the public address system and an opportunity to set up a promotional table on the concourse.

The first pitch will be thrown at 1:00 p.m. at Pacific’s Klein Family Field as the Tigers continue their series against the San Jose State. At every Sunday home game, military veterans are honored in the following manner:

• Military veterans are provided FREE entry to each Sunday home game.
• The Pacific Tigers will wear camouflage uniforms.
• Recognition on our video scoreboard and public address system informing the fans of the sacrifices that military veterans have made.
• Special promotions and discounts provided to veterans in attendance.

Pacific Baseball is unique to Division I athletics in that they regularly recognize the sacrifices of our military servicemen and women while also recognizing the dedication of their families.

In doing so they are donating tickets to each of their homes games this season for a service member to attend the game with his/her family and for that service member to be recognized!
