Veteran Tickets Foundation and ASU form partnership that puts tickets in the hands of veterans

(PHOENIX, Ariz.) – “It’s the kind of partnership that will change this organization forever,” said Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) CEO and founder Michael Focareto about the non-profit’s newest venture that directly reaches out to Arizona State University’s season ticket holders.
ASU has agreed to send a letter to all of its athletic season ticket holders with information about Vet Tix and its mission to collect tickets that might otherwise go unused for Veterans, Active Duty members and their families as a way of saying thank you. Ticket holders who might miss a game can donate tickets to the foundation that will make sure a deserving Veteran or Active Duty member will fill the seat that would otherwise be left empty.
The NCAA, PAC 10 School has also agreed to give tickets to Vet Tix to be distributed to its database, which recently expanded to 26 states and more than 12,000 members.
The partnership puts Vet Tix one step closer to reaching the country’s 26 Million Veterans. “We hope that other universities Nationwide will be inspired by ASU’s desire to give to those who gave,” added Focareto.
