Veteran Tickts Foundation Members benefit from large donation made by PIR and NASCAR

(PHOENIX, Ariz.) – Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) has donated 6500 tickets to Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) for the Nov.15 Checker O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 NASCAR race, presented by Pennzoil. This marks the single largest donation to Vet Tix since the Foundation began accepting donations in 2008.
In order to be eligible for the tickets, you must first log onto www.VetTix.org and register as a veteran, active duty member or reservist. Register soon, as the release of the NASCAR tickets will happen on a first come first served basis. There will be a shipping fee charged for all tickets requested to cover administrative and postal service costs for Vet Tix.

The sizable donation, along with some other donations made by the NFL and Arizona State University, has helped Vet Tix give away more than 30,000 tickets in one year. “We have given away over $2 Million in tickets this year; I cannot even imagine what next year will hold for this foundation,” said Michael Focareto, CEO Veteran Tickets Foundation.
